This location is now closed. Sad it was pretty good. I haven't tried the other but it's further away.

I'm not sure what is with all the 1 star reviews because this place has always been amazing. I've tried many great sushi restaurants back in the Bay Area in Cali, and believe me, it is definitely hands down some of the best sushi you'll ever get your chopsticks on. I found this restaurant by luck, just exploring the area close to home, and I'm glad to have found it. It has always been consistently great, and the staff has always been super friendly and welcoming. They are always in a great mood and smiling when they greet us. I am a huge fan of their flavorful Miso soup with tofu. One time, I finished it so quickly,the waitress was so kind to offer me more. Me and my husband usually order about 3-4 rolls when we come here with our 7yr old (who is very picky), and all of us always leave happy and full. We have tried a variety of different rolls and they were all amazing. That's why I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews. We have never had bland food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will continue coming back here.

I like eating here. Even though it's across from the school it is always quiet when I come by. It's tucked away behind the car wash and Little Caesar's. Everything I've ordered from here is good, even when I order via Ubereats, everything is packaged well and arrives tasty and warm

I'm not sure how this place has so many five star reviews. We ordered through GrubHub, some plain and simple fried rice and teriyaki chicken, as well as a roll of sushi. Not very difficult to mess up right? When we first got our order delivered to our door, the sushi was missing all together. The fried rice consisted of a ball of sticky rice with four or five pieces of vegetables and sesame seeds with a few drops of soy sauce. The teriyaki chicken was probably the worst I've ever had. It taste like they poured a whole jar of salt on left over chicken and called it a day. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend coming or ordering from this restaurant. If anything, I would recommend this restaurant close, or find new owners. I would like to add that I don't normally post negative reviews, but this place sucks.

My wife and I were out running errands before I head out to work and being Valentines Day, my Beautiful Valentines felt like eating Sushi and I liked this place due to the rave reviews from my fellow Yelpers. It was easy to locate in front of Pebble Hills HS and sits in a corner of a strip mall. We entered and were promptly seated and attended to. The restaurant is small but inviting and all the staff are friendly. Our waitress took our drink order and our lunch order. Lunch started with a nice hot cup of Miso soup followed by our lunch plates. My wife ordered the lunch box which was surprisingly large and I the sushi lunch special. The Miso soup opened up our appetite and we both finished up our plates. The sushi was fresh and yummy and my wife said her food was very good as well. We shall be back.

I know people are excited, including myself but I've been here since 11am and the time keeps being pushed further out. They're hustling though. ETA to open is about 3pm and Chef Eddie will be here til 10pm ‍It's more of a soft opening as they prep and get the space ready. I'm happy though, doing some work at the counter and enjoying my soup soda (cups haven't arrived yet)

So I have been back since my original review and I haven't posted in hopes that they prove me wrong but at this point I am just so sad and admitting defeat. I have ordered the sashimi which was so amazing and for the last 2-3 times I have gotten scales in it. I have ordered different rolls and they are usually falling apart. I think they have been changing sushi chefs and the quality has gone down which makes me sad. Don't go as often anymore just because of the quality in sushi has gone down. The staff are nice to us, have never had any issues with them. Also, they still don't have their liquor license so they don't have any beers and they don't seem to be getting it anytime soon. I'll still stop in ever so often just in hopes that it goes back to the amazingness it was when they first opened but as of right now, disappointed is all I can say.

IMHO, just slightly better than supermarket sushi at premium sushi prices. Nigiri and spicy tuna roll were underwhelming and my son's steak teriyaki meat was tougher than a hockey puck!

I am a sucker for sushi restaurants and I love trying out new places. I was excited about having a sushi place close to home. Although, I thought it was okay. The portions were okay for the price. The flavor was bland and not much going on. Although the presentation was decent, I don't think I'll be coming back despite the convenient location.

Placed order at 7:30pm and was told it would be 25 min. Took 1 hour and 10 min to get out order. They kept on telling us 5more min. It's understandable that its valentines day and they are busy. But don't lie to people about how long its going to take. Tell them the real wait time and let us decide if we want to wait or not. First and last time we come here. Sushi wasn't even that good. Disappointed.
