The very best part of my visit was being helped by the young lady behind the desk. She asked if there was anything special I was after. Yes, geodes cut and polished, as specimens for display. In the front room she had several small geodes on display. Then she took me into the next room where dozens more were on display, labeled and beautiful. She helped me find just what I was after. (see pictures) While I looked at the display cases she offered to open several boxes in back but I found everything in the cases. At some point her husband came in to also help us. Both of the couple were very helpful and friendly, totally refreshing and welcome help. Trina's has a large selection, really large, of everything rocks. The small front room has some finished items and supplies. Then the next room, very large, has display cases for specimens on one wall. On the other wall is a work area with equipment to process rocks. And in the middle are smaller rough rocks of all types in separate open boxes, sized, graded, and ready for crafting. In the back is a large supply of rocks in boxes not yet on display. Outside is a large selection of larger specimens for crafting. The shop is easy to find with plenty of parking out front. I would recommend a visit to Trina's Rock Shop if you find yourself stopping overnight or just driving through Deming. We really enjoyed our visit and found several excellent specimens to take home.

This store is fantastic. I recently went to New Mexico to visit some friends and was blown away by their selection. I know that the southwest is know for their "rock hounds" and rock shops. I found this place on the internet and located it easy. I was able to get beautiful stones and jewelry for my family and friends for the holidays. They also had lots of equipment for this hobby. There were several regulars that came in while i was looking over everything. Their conversations sparked my attention on all the work that is done to get the stones in their final state/ jewelry ready. The married couple who runs the shop know what they are talking about! They were very pleasant and Bill was hilarious! I will defiantly visit this place next time I'm in the area!

Bill and his wife are very nice people. I brought a rock here that I obtained at Rock Hound SP (whom referred me here) to get cut, and the prices are super reasonable - a buck an inch. Also picked up 2 geodes from his outdoor bins to have cut, and he insisted I don't pay until I pick up the finished products when I pick them up after Christmas. These are very kind people, the shop is clean, they are knowledgeable and I felt comfortable here. Compared to similar rock shops in town, I found their prices to be VERY reasonable.

Kind shop keeper and a crazy cool amount of rocks. Rock jewelry, rocks by the pound, collectable rocks, rock altering equipment, books about rocks and a few puzzles. We bought a puzzle...not about rocks.

Stopped at Trinas Rock Shop looking for some baker thunder eggs. We picked a bunch out of her uncut pile outside and had her cut them for us. Trina and her husband were very helpful in showing us the ins and outs of what to look for in selecting eggs. My daughter bought some of the custom made jewelry that Trina had, and they were reasonably priced and beautiful! This is a very nice rock shop with a big selection of varied material. We really enjoyed our afternoon at this rock shop!

Wonderful store, wonderful owners. Trina and Jeff are great. And you can spend hours in here looking at & picking out rocks. Very fair prices too.Even before I arrived I was impressed. I was roadtripping and called the owners from 100s of miles away to check what time they close. They told me 6:30pm, but that if I couldn't make it by then to just call them and they would keep the store open later so I can come. How nice is that.I also appreciated how much they know about rocks, and that they not only packaged each stone I bought very carefully, but even wrote the names and places of each stone for me. Awesome! For clarification, this store is actually now called Trina's Rock Shop.
