This place is the spot!! I've never had better Mexican food. Seriously. Everyone in town comes in here and knows each other! The service is fantastic and fast if you're in a rush! We had dinner and now are headed back for breakfast. Don't think twice, go, it's worth it!

3.75 stars. Small place in a small town. The service was very good. We ordered the large combination plate. It had a chunky burrito, a beef taco, cheese enchilada, chili relleno rice and beans. Chips and a delicious salsa are complimentary.The ok:The beans and rice were perfectly fine, just not very flavorful. Sadly, so was the ground beef in the taco. Nothing wrong with it, just very underwhelming. The ingredients were fresh.Christmas style is $0.50. Cheaper than at the last place I reviewed, but still surprising. Must be a new thing to charge for it as we have ordered Christmas at all of our NM dining on all of our trips. The good:The cheese enchilada was very good, it seemed to have a mix of shredded cheeses in it. The the red and green sauce were very good. The very good: The chili relleno was very good! Better than the Pepper Pot's in Hatch. It was cooked much better and the egg batter was lighter and fluffier. Very good.The great:My partner gave me some of hers as she wasn't as happy with it as I was. But I'm writing this! It is a small flour tortilla filled on one side with their stewed beef in green sauce and the other side in their stewed pork in red sauce.I had no idea what a chunky burrito was but I could have eaten a big bowl of both that beef and the pork. Very very delicious!The amazing:The price! All of this food and chips and salsa... even charging $0.50 for Christmas style... $11.25 each! $10.75 with Christmas. I can't say this with any certainty, but I bet you'll be hard pressed to get this delicious meal for the price.

A delicious stop on our road trip! I called ahead to place an order after looking at the menu and pictures on yelp. The food was ready for pick up as we arrived. We went with the carne asada quesadilla and the chile relleno plate. The portion was a good size and so delicious!!! The service was so friendly.

LOVE this spot. You walk in and the friendly services immediately acknowledge you. You can tell people know eachother, a local spot. The food is also top notch. The carne asada chimichanga was amazing and the tamales were delicious! I wish we were here longer to enjoy it again!

Every once in a while, when traveling for business, you stumble across a real gem... I found Tony's Mexican restaurant in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. let me tell you, if you're ever in the area, you will not be disappointed!

We ate at Tony's for late lunch. EVERYTHING & EVERYONE was incredible! It's not a fancy restaurant, it's a nice clean place with friendly people and great service and food! And a true SW dining experience. I had the chunky red beef burrito with refried beans and Spanish rice. The meat was very tender and well seasoned, the red sauce awesome the rice was especially good and the beans as well. My wife had the "Tonys" plate with chili relleno, chicken taquito, cheese enchiladas and rice and beans. Everything was very very good and the prices are great! LOTS OF FOOD! The chips and salsa were good as well the salsa was very flavorful. Our server was delightful. We are retired and traveling the country (former Arizonans) HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONYS!!!

I'm in town from Austin and came by for some red and green. The meat in the c h i l e is different. I don't know that I'm about it, but you might be. Very good. But I think from my personal taste I liked El faro better. But I think that's just a personal thing. Good wait staff and positive environment.

We were in the mood to get some Mexican food and decided to try this place. The service was pretty fast especially it being busy. The food was OK, Camarones Rancheros was super greasy and rice didn't have much flavor. The tacos looked pretty good so we will come back to try those

Delicious food, Always Great service from Laura or Crysta, and speedy cooking. Nice clean cafe with a local small town feeling. Packed at lunch time so go early.
