Subzero refrigerator was leaking. Tom and Thomas are experts with appliances. They defrosted an area where there was ice blockage, added Freon, and later replaced an evaporator coil.

Excellent service, good price and fixed our washing machine the same day, in the evening. Tom was proactive, did some troubleshooting over the phone, asked me to take a picture of the washing machine and brought with him an extra motor ahead of time. It's exactly what the machine needed! I would highly recommend Tom's appliance! Very friendly & helpful.

Tom and his son have done warranty repair work on my Viking refrigerator. Each time they replace more parts. This last time they replaced 3 different parts. When I returned home after being gone for 10 days, the refrigerator was at a temperature of 78 degrees. Obviously all of the food was spoiled. Today they came to fix the refrigerator again said they need to replace another part. Furthermore, Tom will tell you an appointment time but he shows up much later. The work was covered under warranty and that is why I had to use this company.The most disturbing in his recent two service calls is he was called about a beeping sound. After replacing multiple parts, he stated he wasn't sure if the parts were the most up to date with our model! Then the unit stoped cooling. He returned back only to state it was the "black box".

Do not waste your time on this guy. He is rude and unprofessional. It's obvious the positive reviews for this guy are not reliable. I called him to see about getting a quote, got his voicemail, left him a message. He responded via text using his email address, not even his phone number, saying: "Were u located at what brand of machines." I replied with the information he requested, and radio silence. I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt; maybe he was at a job site. So I waited several hours and sent him a second message, asking him if he works on the brand I mentioned. A full day later, still nothing.

Tom Sr and Tom Jr. are the very definition of "Old School" They only need one visit to troubleshoot / fix ANYTHING. I could not recommend them more highly. Brilliant!!!

Tom is not only a great appliance repair guy, but he is also very honest and customer oriented. We came back from a trip and our housesitter told us the oven was not working. My wife called Tom, who has been great for us in the past. He suggested shutting off the breaker to the oven for an hour to see if that fixed the problem. If it did not, he said to call him back and he would come right over. It fixed the problem! Rather than charging us for a service call and coming out and doing it, he solved the problem over the phone and said he was happy he was able to do that, no worries that he did not get paid for anything to do it. You can't find people like Tom nowadays.

Tom is very knowledgeable and organized. He's fixed my stove and refrigerator, and he made it look so easy, and easy on me.

So happy I found them. My 12 year old dryer stopped working so I decided to give him a call and I'm so glad I did. He worked around my schedule and fix the problem on the spot. Definitely Recommend

Tom really knows how to fix an appliance. My freezer was making an odd noise, which I took a video of since I would not be able to reproduce the sound for Tom on his service call. He listened to the video twice and was able to figure out what was wrong with my sub-zero freezer. He even had the parts that he needed on the truck to resolve the issue and was able to complete the entire job in an hour. Both Tom and his Dad are appliance experts and can assess and fix your problem quickly and reliably. There are many so called appliance repair shops here in ELP, but if you need your repair done correctly the first time call Tom's appliance!

I wish I could rate with no stars.Tom of Tom's Appliance and other guy came to my home to check a washing machine. They didn't fix the machine, yet they still charged me for the trip. They said it was the main board so I gave them a new board and guess what? the machine still didn't turn on. They claimed it was another part that was not working. That's how this works? GUESSING? They BROKE something else inside the machine. I spoke to Tom and he said that he was going to come and fix the piece. Later he called and said that someone else broke it. They never mention that something was broken when they were leaving. They never said it was broken when they opened the cover. They just left the piece hanging on the hoses. They didn't put the back cover correctly and they even took the screws. What a shitty person. One of the guys was pounding the circuit board because according to him sometimes the pieces in the board get stuck. Seriously? I filed a report with the Police and the BBB. They might not do anything about it but my complaint is going to be for everybody to see. I really hope people read reviews before hiring these useless people. They don't know what they are doing.
