Highly recommended.We've just received our Audi A6 Avant after an extended stay in the shop with Patrick and Mike. While six weeks was an excruciatingly long period of time to wait while it was repaired, it is now running like a dream. For the most part, the long repair period was expected. We knew that there was a lot that needed to be worked on, and I had gotten to the point with this vehicle that all repairs which could be shadetree, weekend matters were completed: real mechanics would have to work on the car to resolve the outstanding issues. That's exactly what we got in dealing with Tinkertoy: real mechanics, plus honest, cordial, and affordable as well.At a certain point in the process, the car was almost ready to roll out the door; but a final test of electrical connections ended with the Engine Control Unit short-circuiting and killing the motor altogether. These guys called, apologetically, heard us out in our frustration, proffered a loaner, and kept right on repairing the car, overnighting old electronic components, chasing down a bad wire without the benefit of a live ECU signal, you name it. It took a long time, but they did their jobs well, and we appreciate them.I cannot recommend them highly enough -- the caveat about the burnt ECU notwithstanding, they have earned our trust and our business, and for so long as we own German cars, Tinkertoy will be our shop.(One word of advice: if your car repair does happen to run into any trouble, escalate the matter above the receptionist immediately. The owner and the shop chief are remarkably responsive.)

I took my work van here after another shop couldn't keep my codes clear. These guys diagnosed my econoline properly and it's been running for a few weeks now with no problems. From talking to these guys I felt that they really knew their stuff and I consider myself a regular customer now.

Are you all really closed?? Why?? I don't understand. Did u all possibly move to another location??

costumer service was great. the workers are kind. But when I went in for a valve cover gasket they didn't do it correct and it broke right away and it happened 3 other times. I don't know why I kept going to this place, I went to another place and they got it right away.

Quality repairs at a responsible price! I needed to replace the radiator in my Jeep TJ. I left it after lunch for them to fit into their schedule. I was called at 9:45 am the following morning to pick it up! Quick turn around with professional installation.. Definitely going back if I need additional repairs.

So glad I was referred their by a friend. Initially went for basic tune up, great service. When I went to pick up my car, it was waiting outside and had been washed. Went back to have them look at my dome light never worked, figured it was a wiring issue. Nope, it was a simple fuse. They showed me the issue and didn't charge me anything. They are a two man operation, so you may need to schedule an appointment. They have two lifts and can do anything automotive repair related. Highly recommend giving them a chance, you won't be disappointed.
