The Tuscany at Mesa Hills Apartments

I moved here from NYC in 2019 and right at the cusp of COVID-19. For being in the middle of a pandemic, I think the property and it's management team have done a phenomenal job with what they had to work with. Currently, they are having maintenance done around the property and that is great! Looking forward to going to the pool this summer. They drained the pools and hot tub and hoping to use it this time around. We do have parking issues with other residents but over all, it's a nice place to live.

We lived here a total of 14 months. First week we moved in we had to have our blinds replaced and the "maintenance" guy who came in had no clue what he was doing. No top of that when we moved in the carpets had a VERY strong odor of pet urine, we had to rent a carpet cleaner to clean them OURSELVES. Then we had to replace our stopper in the toilet. And now were moving out was told Brenda would be in at 1 here it is three thankful for maintenance manager came and did the walk through with us. Definitely don't recommend this place! The reviews on here speak for them selfs. New management or not still don't have their stuff together.

Over priced for very poor quality apartments. I definitely don't recommend living here.

This is a beautiful (sometimes) gated apartment located right very close to i10 and Sunland park which has a huge shopping complex, lots food, theater and groceries less than 5 min away! It's pet and kids friendly. Like others have said, the appliances need to to be updated. My oven and dishwasher constantly had problems for the first YEAR, and I honestly couldn't use it. Their repair people can take a couple of days-weeks to arrive. The gate is usually open. Maybe not during business hours but certainly on the weekend and at nights when I feel like they should most be closed. For an upscale apartment, bedroom and living room lights aren't included...Price: it's easily one of the priciest apartment complexes on the west side, altho there are newer, same upscale apartments with a bigger square footage and ammenties for a cheaper price. Be warned, if you pay online for rent they tack on $5-13 extra if you use debit or credit. Keep that extra monthly cost in mind when you compare the price of this apartment and a competing apartment. They have increased prices each year for those staying. So if you think this place is pricy, it's just going to get even pricier

This place is a joke the management has always sucked and the buildings are all breaking down. I have lived here for a year and a half we moved in our apartment started leaking with the 1st rain in el paso. We were always told that it will be taken care of. Thank god we moved out of this mess. It looks nice at 1st but look again. I have a child and I wanted to take him to the playing area but the cats use it as a litter box it smells and it's gross I also found broken glass the play area multiple times. I reported it and I guess nothing was done about it. The pool is so disgusting there is always an oil slick and dark foam floating on top. I had to take my child to the MD because he got a body rash. Dog poop everywhere. Lots of people are moving away and this place is a big mess. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Everything is bad/broken.

Nice place to live. Appliances need up dating to match the dark wood. Very Dog friendly.. Pool is nice when it is not closed for the week. Gym is quaint and serves its purpose. A nice place to come home to after work. Located close to restaurants and shopping.

Very bad staff, facilities are rarely clean and often locked when they are supposed to be open. The staff will blast the radio during contract meetings.

I lived, there two years. Pros: gym was nice, in unit laundry room is big enough to place a movable steel shelving for storage, covered parking included in rent, maintenance guy is prompt and good, big kitchen with plenty of cabinet space and counter area, the front area of the apartments looks amazing, quiet at night Cons: broken floor tiles in bathroom and kitchen, pieces of cement grout would break off the floor tile, was re-grouted with what looked like caulking, only the area with the missing grout was re-grouted, the door bell ringer cord inside the apartment was super long and had to wrap it around the bell ringer so I wouldn't trip over it, windows are old and stained on the outside, not insulated good, I placed tape on window edges as weather stripping, caulking on bathtub had mold, cabinets repainted on the outside only and over grease, the walkway between my building was not cleaned up, tipped over utility covers, flaked stucco from building not swept up in two years, landscape needs refilling of rocks. When rent increased by $165 I felt the apartment was not worth it.

Great place to live. The gated community has vivint cameras at every apartment door. It makes it extremely safe. The rooms are a great size. The office staff is very friendly and provides cold drinks and hot coffee daily.
