The Spa Downtown

I absolutely loved this spot! Right on Main Street, it's beautiful inside and the staff are just the sweetest folks. I was so happy with my stylist too, she was able to help me get exactly the cut I wanted, which can be risky when going short!If you need a spot to get dolled up in Las Cruces, I wouldn't look any further than The Spa!

Pedicures are horrible here. I complained and they didn't care. I even told the technician doing my tires that I was uncomfortable and he just didn't care. Worst pedicure ever.

I've been considering writing this review for some time. I've gone to the Spa Downtown for a pedicure (which was fine but nothing to write home about), two massages (I strongly preferred my massage from Ben Schultz -- I would consider coming back to see him).I've gotten my haircut by about 3-4 different stylists and their main goal seems to get me in and out as quickly as possible -- consistently about 30 minutes. Most recently the stylist didn't even bother asking what side I part my hair on and I don't think he did a good job asking questions about my hair goals, etc. But the thing that makes me the most upset is the pink tax. I get charged 60 for a haircut since I'm a woman (despite having a pixie for a while) and they spend ~30 minutes with me -- so 2 bucks a minute. My husband who has longer hair than me is charged only 30 by the same stylist.Customer service and hospitality seems to me to be lacking. I don't feel welcomed, pampered, or relaxed -- which I'd expect from a "spa". I am NOT a picky or demanding person. But paying TWICE as much for a hair cut because of my gender really ticks me off.

Paid for a 90 minute couples massage, but we only got no more than a 79 minute massage. It was probably less than that. That was just the last time we checked the clock before they came in. Our Massage therapists chose to handle incoming customers rather than attend to their current customers who would be paying for a timed service. Decent massages, but they either need to get more front desk staff or not charge for what they don't do.

Absolutely wonderful place. Went in for a pedicure with a close friend and they totally made us feelRelaxed and welcome . Then booked a haircut and the hairdresser was fabulous. She did such a great cut

Mari does a wonderful job with my hair. When I first went to her over a year ago, my hair was not cut correctly by another salon...Mari patiently worked with my hair to cut it in a way to let it grow out and get it where I want it today. The salon is always welcoming and provides great service whether it's the salon or the massages. Give the salon and masseuse therapists a try! You won't be disappointed.

This post is is only for the fact that I have called multiple times to this place and no one ever seems to pick up . Last time I heard they were looking for someone to work the front desk . Either they never hired someone or the person they have working the front sucks . It should not take over 10 rings to get a hold of a place to talk to someone on the phone . Horrible reflection on how this place is managed . Couldn't imagine what it is like to go here if they can't even pick up a phone call

I went to go get a hilite and cut and brought my son to keep me company. I was refused service and told I was going to be charged because he was there. I was told there is not enough room for him. I've been going there since it has opened. There is a lot of space. Im sure it's because other kids have misbehaved, but I was not told about this. Also, when I called back to complain and asked to speak with the manager, they wouldn't answer the phone, but miraculously, when my mom called, they answered. She said she must have been in the back. I felt like I was lied to on a couple of levels.i will never be back and will spread the word to not consider this place EVER because of the lack of customer service and dishonesty. I felt like I was lied to twice!

Appointment was at 1pm and my service started at 1:20pm. Customer service from Nancy was terrible. I had to ask for a robe for transition into next service, should have been provided initially. Also, when I booked they mentioned a mimosa would be provided and no one offered anything. Not sure at what point it was supposed to be provided? Esthetician did not check skin before and jumped into service and did not say what she was putting on my face. Ok for a small town spa, but lacks the professionalism you find in larger city spas.

Great low lights color for my gray and brunette hair and trim of wavy curly hair. I'm always afraid to try a new hair stylist but it was super.
