The Soluna is in an odd area. There is a budget motel next door, and a sports bar right across the street (that seemed busy, but it was Sat night.) It strikes me as an older hotel that had a facelift awhile back (not new, but also not ages ago.) Checkin was easy and there was plenty of parking around back. The decor is medium browns and...calming. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom decent, the fridge definitely worked (we used it), and there was a microwave and blackout curtains. The bed was alright - standard med firm (not pillow top or anything), the bed was made nicely and the linens soft, and all the lamps have outlets for device charging. The continental breakfast is what you'd expect - yogurt, muffins, toast, juice, coffee, fruit, and someone was making waffles. (At least it looked like a waffle maker.)Not sure if it was just our bad timing, but the jacuzzi was not heated. Neither was the pool (not really a complaint, just still kinda cold- summer temps hadn't warmed it yet.) Also, no loungers like in their pictures-and the pool area pic is the most flattering angle for the pool area - it's wedged in a corner and even smaller than it looks. If lounging poolside is your idea- this ain't a relaxing kinda spot. My only other complaint was the cable...no channel listing provided, no channel channel so you could see what was on (or soon to be). And the remote sucked (were tech-savvy enough to manage using such things- this one was either worn out or needed new batteries.)Overall, I'd definitely consider coming back but I'd call to check on the jacuzzi (I was really looking forward to that amenity.)

Stayed here a few years ago, when I was heavily pregnant with my twins, and when my husband was still a service member. It was a cute hotel, but it was definitely dated, and there was a foul smell in the elevator. The staff was really nice, and the rooms were very cozy.

Budget hotelWe stayed at this hotel on the outskirts of El Paso because it was a convenient location for us to base ourselves for our visit to the Carlsbad Canyons National Park and because it was cheap. The rooms are spacious and quite well equipped and the breakfast is reasonable. The hotel is quite dated - the carpet is worn and the linen has seen better days, but the bed is comfortable and the staff are helpful. When we checked in the receptionist gave us two suggestions for dinner which were both terrific. This is a good value option but not luxury!

When I see Hotel I think posh or upper scale. Well this establishment is more motel and mid range at best. It was clean and spacious but nothing spectacular. It promotes the free breakfast which consisted of tangerines, coffee, yogurt & Danish in a bag type product. The fitness room was closed.

Found this place on Trip Advisor and it had great Yelp reviews so decided to give it a shot.We stopped here for a good nights rest as we were coming from California. Check-in was quick and simple. The room itself is very dated but clean. It's pretty spacious and the pillows are quite comfortable. My favorite part was the complimentary breakfast. The kids loved the fruit loops for breakfast and even enjoyed a muffin and some fruit. I made myself a waffle shaped as the state of Texas. The lady that checked us out was very friendly and kind and left a very good lasting impression.Good place and great prices!

Second time i stay in this hotel. I like the size of the rooms. They have a tv with cable, microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker, blow dryer and an iron. Free wifi and breakfast. Very comfortable and well kept. The rooms are clean and the linen smells good. Haven't seen bugs or any other insect. Fence in parking lot and close to stores. Worth giving it a try.

The hotel was hosting many Honduran immigrants (dropped off by ICE with little/no notice) seeking refugee status with the aid of Annunciation House of El Paso. The hotel staff was kept hopping by the situation but very supportive of the management's accommodation of the Hondurans AND very responsive to all of our needs (9 bicyclists in 3 rooms)

For $65 it was very clean with king size bed and spacious room. has a refrigerator, microwave and of course cable TV. although the TV in our room was rather old but it worked. the only disappointment for me was the jacuzzi was not heated. the young man at the front desk was more than helpful. You also get a breakfastIf you are hungry for dinner, go to the L & J cafe. it was recommended by the clerk and he was absolutely right great food very reasonable price Mexican food.El paso is a rather old town and this hotel looks like it is not in the greatest area, but I would stay here again.

This place probably started life as a La Quinta or Travelodge or something similar, and that's pretty much the quality level it maintains-- but for about 20% less. It's a little worn but very clean, and the service ranges from good enough to excellent, depending on who's on duty. You could find a cheaper room in El Paso, but not one that includes fridge and microwave, shampoo, and breakfast. The breakfast is nothing to write home about-- waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and coffee-- but it's served early, and IMO having coffee on hand first thing in the morning increases the value of a hotel room by at least 5 bucks because I don't have to waste time looking for a Starbucks or something. It's also not nearly as difficult to get to as I worried it might be, BUT be aware that the gate on E. Yandell closes after dark and you have to go around to the front off of E. Paisano. It's not a big deal, but your GPS will be confused.
