I'm totally satisfied with Derrick's operation. It's great having somebody who is willing to work on just about anything with wheels. Good prices, and knowledgeable service. What else could you want?

My truck was trying to kill me with heat stroke and the owner helped me sort out why the heat door was wired open and for a fair price. I couldn't have asked for a better shop to pull into. Thanks again Derek, I really appreciate the help.

Very knowledgeable service. My Jeep's rear brake was making noise at low speeds; three other garages could not diagnose or fix the problem. The Shop in Benson swapped out the left rear brake pads and fixed the problem. Very pleased!

Amazing!I was driving down I-10 when my car started having problems. I called 4 or five shops in Benson and everyone said it would be 2-3 days before they could even LOOK at my car. I ulled into Benson anyway and saw "The Shop". I pulled in and the owner immediately stopped what he was doing to help. He was very attentive and got to the root of the problem quickly. He helped me get back on the road and made my day. Thank you!

I've been going to Derrick since he first opened quite a few years ago. He has always been very knowledgeable, honest, and fair priced. I have been around the auto mechanic industry for a long time, and this is the only mechanic I refer people to. He explains the problem, gives you any options if they exist, and let's you decide. He is as straight forward and honest as they come.He also understands "lady talk" (and some guys too) for those of you who who can describe what the problem feels like, and sounds like, but have no earthly idea of the mechanical workings that may be causing the problem. Ladies, you will not be taken advantage of here. Have no fear of that, at this shop, (or anyone else for that matter.) Derrick is one of the best guys I know, who takes the meaning of the word "integrity" seriously.

I got my caaaaar back, I got my caaaaar back! You would NOT believe what happened to the AC compressor if you saw it. The machine equivalent of an Alien chest burster... but on 2 sides... and METAL.And Derrick at The Shop in Benson is an awesome guy.

This place literally saved our lives! My mom and I were on our way through during a cross country move when her car started making a terrible rattling noise coming from the back wheel. We decided to stop at the next town we came to to have it looked at and found The Shop. Come to find out that the lug nuts on the back left wheel had come loose and 2 of the 5 had broken off, despite having the tires rotated and then retorqued right before we left. Thank goodness we stopped when we did and found this place. The mechanic was professional and efficient and we were in and out and on our way in about an hour. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
