The Red Plate Diner

The food is decent, and quality differentiates from. The tomatoes on my chicken Dijon sandwich looked like they were sliced up with a butter knife! The deep fried appetizer basket came out after we had almost finished our entree, and some was burnt while some was undercooked! Service is has been consistently good! The ambiance is pretty good as for a lunch diner, and ice cream parlor.

Patty melt really dry. Meat so thin. Use regular store bought patties not homemade.

Our first time here was for lunch. Food is amazing!! Great choices on the menu! Service was very good and the ambiance gave off that small town diner feel and was wonderful! Went back for breakfast a couple days later and was even better!! Bella, our waitress, was top notch! Highly, highly recommend!!

The food is always good. Service is very nice and quick. Clean and fresh. Never pass up dessert, worth saving space for dessert!!!

Stephanie the Manager should probably not be a manager! Waitress was slammed but Mgr stood her happy ass doing nothing. Drinks needed refill, tables bussed among other supportive things you can usually find restaurant managers doing. The waitress doesn't get one star-the mgr and kitchen does. Ordered a buffalo chick sand...they sent a plain chick sand with a side of salsa. Whoever owns this place-your kitchen needs a refresh on menu and you need someone other miserable Stephanie managing (not managing) the place

We swing by the red plate dinner about once a month when we are wanting some "home cooked" breakfast. They are quick, consistent & the service is always good! It's a cozy little spot & we're able to get in & out! I always forget to take a picture because we always dig in!

Service was fine, but food was not very high quality. It was all pre made/ frozen food. The chicken fried steak was like something you would get and a high school cafeteria and the biscuits very clearly came from a can. Just overall not very good.

We go for the sandwich and wedge fries and the drinks are plenty. The ice cream is a treat that we enjoy as well. The service is great and I have never had a problem.

1st tip before you sit down make sure that not only the top of the table is wiped off but the sides also. Our table had syrup dripping down the side of it, easy to understand how that could happen after watching the way one of the servers wiped down tables, pretty much pushed everything over the edge. I pointed out to him that he needed to come back and clean another table as I watched him push a big glob of ketchup off the side. Service was slow apparently our server had to resubmit our order instead of owning up to mistake was like kitchen is slow don't know what happened. After waiting for our food eggs were cold, biscuits and gravy luke warm. Don't need to go back there are plenty of places to try.

I absolutely adore this place! The charming, old-fashioned diner design immediately caught my eye. Our experience was made even more delightful by our wonderful waitress, who was incredibly attentive and polite, checking on us multiple times throughout our meal. I opted for the RPD, and it was incredibly satisfying. While the potatoes could have used a bit more cooking, the overall meal was delicious! In fact, I had so many leftovers to enjoy later.
