If you are looking for wonderfully unusual gifts for yourself or others, The Red Vintage Door is the place to go! My daughter had been wanting to visit just to see what they had, and she had the time of her life! The owner was friendly, attentive, and shared local history about The Creature from the Black Lagoon, where the creator of the creature was born in El Paso. Highly recommended. We will be going back!

I absolutely love this place. Beyond The Red Door being your typical vintage shop, they also use half the space as a gallery. Like them on Facebook because they occasionally take a piece of clothing or jewelry and update it. Those pieces go fast.Basically everything that's not clothing (purses, jewelry, records, I even saw a PacMan arcade game once) is right at the front. I'm always in this section too long, but I always find the coolest stuff. One of my favorite things I've found in this section so far is my super cute elephant necklace.Right next to this section is the clothing (and yes they have a small men's section). The clothing is pretty organized so its easy to find what your looking for. There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it.And pricing is really great here, but every time I seem to go in they're having a sale so I always feel like they're just handing it to me for pennies.

I've been looking for some cool vintage stuff to incorporate in my wedding, so I decided to swing by to see if I could find some goodies. I called around 6:30pm to ask about their hours and the voicemail said they would be open until 8:00pm. I arrived around 6:40pm only to find the shop was closed. I tried calling the shop again just to confirm their hours and someone answered and confirmed they are open until 7:00pm. "But, um, I'm here and you're...closed.." I say, "Yeah....we close around 6:45 if people aren't in here...." someone replies. Awkward. But ok, from what I was able to peek through the window, it looks like they might have some interesting stuff. Vintage hats, dresses, and other things. So I'll try again tomorrow, see how the experience goes. I'm just glad I live close!Okay so I decided maybe yesterday I waited to long to swoop by this place so I decided to come in earlier. Again, crickets. Its after 12pm and the store is closed. Whyyyyy? Is this place for members only? Do I need a magic password to get in? Oh well. Save your gas if it's a long drive. Hours are not as advertised. Maybe I'll get a tattoo next door. Those guys don't seem to mind coming to work.

Wow i fell in love with this place! First time visit in Texas and i wanted a vintage store, this was the only one I found and it was all I needed. Decent pricing on clothing, they have a tattoo shop and coffee shop attached the perfect 3 in 1 combination. Not only did i buy a lot of clothes, but got a tattoo as well very satisfied.

So many cool pieces of vintage clothing, and art. Leticia is so talented and easy to work with. She helped make our Halloween costumes so much better than we could have asked for or even imagined. This is definitely a place I'm going back to for future events! A must see shop in Downtown El Paso

I love this place! I have found many lovely dresses and accessories here. My vintage camera bag is from here. The owner will also do alterations to dresses you purchase for a small price if you ask her about it. You can find a lot of treasures here. They also have a really cool tattoo shop and a cafe inside.

I came into this place out of pure curiosity. I used to go when it was part of west Texas tattoo and it was the only spot in town that I knew carried sauvesito pomade at the time. You could buy nice odd things, from magnets to knives to buttons and could also see the variety of vintageClothing that they have. Not really my style but we all know someone who would be interested in going here

This is a very unique place for El Paso. It's at the corner of Montana and Mesa streets downtown so it's easy to find. Every time I go in, I find some new. It has so many things to see and buy that I spend too much time in there. Vintage is what its all about but they also have new things like locally made jewelry and t-shirts. Occasionally they will have events at night with art, live music and movies. I guess the best way to keep up to date on what's going on is to join their FacebookI think the address listed on this site is wrong. The right address is 820 N. Mesa, 79902.
