The Nail Shop

EXTRA! EXTRA! Under New Management! The new owners, Kay & Calvin are so dedicated and responsive to their clients. I followed them from the salon they used to work at to their very own Salon. I have known them for a little over a year and their work is always excellent. The Nail Shop is conveniently located off the Mesa exit in The Promenade shopping center. This location is across Walmart Super Center, the movie theatre and restaurants. You can get some grocery shopping done, grab bite to eat and get your nails done all in the same area. The shop is open Monday-Saturday it can get very busy on the weekend so I recommend making an appointment.

I got so lucky finding this place not knowing El Paso much, my daughter had prom coming up we were in the area and I just picked it and it was the best choice, Lee was polite made conversation the whole vibe was just amazing we didn't feel like there were going to be hidden fees as other places. We felt relax. The prices we're doable not like other place Example the fountain nails place. They will ripp you off 100$ and up nails for same thing the nail shop can do. The Nail shop also offers drinks like water soda etc. Overall my nails came out amazing thank you for the nice lady who did my design! They have la michoacana ice cream next door have your boyfriend buy you a snack while you get your pedi/mani best experience great customer service, relaxing. some nail places don't make it relaxing anymore its a lot about the money.

I highly recommend this business because it is clean, affordable, and they take appointments seriously so waiting is very rarely an issue. Mimi is fabulous with acrylic and pedicures; she is thorough and the process is painless.

Mimi does a half job with nails. She didn't file my nails and tried saying she did. It was so much white flakes under my nails, it looked ridiculous. I had to get my nails done twice in one visit. Then b/c of MiMi mistakes the tried up charging me. I've been going here since 2021; my nails and toes are never more than $125 total- Today they tried charging me $140 for my usual.... MiMi had my nails soaking for over an hour and tried to leave me longer if I didn't speak up... When I arrived my nails were already stiletto as they've been for years, now today it's an extra $5.. tried charging me $5, for cutting my nails shorter even though they were never cut shorter...I get overlays; MiMi broke my real mail the charged me $5 for a tip lmbo- I can't make this up..I spent 4 hours in a nail salon for a fill in and pedi- NEVER GOING BACK - AVOID AVOID AVOID

I got a gel mani on Saturday the 12th, and by Tuesday it had already chipped off. The manicurist was quite rude as well, I did not get his name but he was in a hurry the entire time. The only reason this gets 3 stars is because the manager(?) was extremely nice and did a wonderful job on my sister's acrylics, and their prices are decent. I won't come back for myself though.

Nails always look great after coming here. I never leave unsatisfied! They take their time and ensure you get what you want. Love coming here and will keep coming back!

The pedicure was horrible. They cut my toe with the nail file. They didn't do a proper cleaning of my toe nails or cut my nails. The "tech" doing my nails was also rude when I asked him to remove the nail polish.

They have been doing my nails for many years. Appointments are best to minimize waiting. Always happy with the service and my nails look great!

Not even a week later.. and 7/10 nails are chipped and coming off already. Not worth the price, and the staff wasn't very friendly either. The nail technician i had kept waking out to argue on the phone, so unprofessional.

I do not recommend this place at all ! Long/Short storyI had to go three time because the nails fall the day after, I guess the materials were old specially the glue. They were extremely rude, definitely not a good experience
