We lived here for a full year and it was extremely great. The owner is super friendly and very quick to respond. The inside of the building is cleaned weekly, the door is only opened with a key, and you get gated parking which is a blessing in downtown. Feels super safe and there's so many things in walking distance. Love the place, wish they had bigger units available as I'd totally move back.

The Mix at Union Plaza gives me hope for the rest of downtown. Union Plaza has started a revolution and it seems like everyone else downtown is following suit, but my biggest wish is that a good number of business owners follow The Mix's lead specifically. If you haven't been to The Mix or you just avoid downtown in general, I implore you to get your arse down to The Mix immediately! The Mix houses a couple of different boutiques, a vintage shop, hair salons, a bomb a$$ pub that is prohibition era inspired, and on top of that (literally and figuratively) some pretty sweet apartments. As one of my favorite DJs has put it, "This is New Paso." And it just so happens that you can buy shirts with the New Paso logo designed locally by JAM! in collaboration with DJ Red-1 at The Mix inside Manchot. But really New Paso is seriously the essence of what The Mix is.There's a gated parking lot for people who actually live (and maybe work) at TM. For us frequent shoppers, there are a couple of spots on the one way street and it's only a stone's throw from the Union Plaza parking garage (which a lot of the time has FREE parking...but not always) and the parking lot across from The Garden (ALWAYS FREE PARKING).TM is actually on the same street as The Downtown Artist & Farmers Market that happens all year round (minus the week of Christmas and New Years) on Saturday. So you can grab food, buy a ton of stuff from locals, and then still make your way over to TM and do a little indoor shopping.

Well I was highly considering renting a spot today, but couldn't find a place to park and seal the deal. So huge problem already.
