Not a bad lil place to hang out for the night! Since its so small, the ambiance of the live music on stage can be on the much louder scale than most dives. And the place has that typical dingy bar smell which can scare even the cats away. But after knocking a few back, one may not notice. I love the layout of the place with cushiony sofas all around and faces the stage. And its tiered with the stage at the lowest level so you will always be able to see the stage no matter where you stand. Not sure the pricing on the drinks since we went during a special event but what they did have was great if you like fruity drinks. Wouldnt mind coming back for a lil fun and music.

Just a local bar that occasionally has all ages concerts. It has all the feelings of a dark mysterious place. When you are watching a good band it definitely is a great time.

came for a back to back friday saturday to see a couple dj sets. i think this is a venue that is used for all kinds of different shows thrown by different organizations/promoters? so my review is sure to be a thin slice of the pie, of what you, ghost reader, will experience. Going to see electronic music and dancing all evening is my idea of a good night out, and seeing little boots and kill frenzy (lnsc) here made me feel so at home like edward sharpe. the small space makes for a very intimate show, you are at furthest like 15 yards away from the artist. the ambience is dark, gritty and divey, which is absolutely my scene. i'd definitely suggest tracking the shows that go on here for those with a finger on the pulse of current music trends. for any homies from la, it reminds me of echoplex, where big names in indie music let their hair down at a smaller venue. sometimes it can be hit or miss, but they usually play differently than say, seeing them at an arena or festival, where they sorta have to preach to the masses. met a bunch of friendly ppl here. well, at an electronic music event ur liable to meet very friendlies, if u know what i mean. big shout out to bartender lluvia. friendly, prompt service and cutie pie of the year. i've ran pie redundant if u haven't noticed. its a good thing it was in sliver. pee pee maw maw, lowbrow palace. pee pee! maw maw!

I mean, it's a bar. It's not subpar and it isn't over the top. It has an excellent setup (except the grafitti near the bathrooms made me confused and I walked into the staff area like a dumbass). This bar did bar things, served alcohol and had live music. The yelp event was amazing for my first time and really enjoyed getting out. I didn't have any issues at this bar. It was pretty full and I didn't really have to wait long for drinks. Aside from a female getting served as the bartender watched her walk up next to me after I was honestly clearly there before her (I've worked in a bar and have done the same thing, I ain't hatin') it was excellent so I would say this is a solid choice for a night out to listen to live music.

Awesome venue. Located near UTEP, it's a great place to catch a show. The actual room is cozy and intimate. I highly recommend this spot.

Went for a concert and although a small venue, it was awesome! My sister, friend and I, saw Saving Abel. I really likes the chill vibe. I will definitely return.

Bartenders treat us well- a great oasis for seeing shows. I like the atmosphere and layout. I'm sad it's in its own now since I use to like to travel to the trifecta that was - Black Market, Palomino, and this place. Last week I met some good people here and saw Dead City, Victory Victory, and Ralphene

Great place. Have been there a couple of times, once for an art show/punk concert (REAL punk music haha) and another time for some drinks. The stage is situated in a multi-leveled pit with allows you to either get close to performers or stay up top and chill on some of the comfy sofas or chairs. The speakers are well placed so you can hear the performances equally well no matter where you are in the building. THIS IS NOT A QUIET PLACE! I like how loud it is, but I know that isn't for everyone. You have been warned. They have a good bartender who makes good mixed drinks. He's a man of few words who gets your order right out. Their alcohol selection is nice. Not a huge selection of beer, but what they have is good.Considering this is the only place in El Paso that I've seen someone else other than me wearing alternative attire, there is a good mix of people that go here. Highly recommended!

The Lowbrow Palace is a very cool place to relax and enjoy the view outside or just listen to good music inside. Staff is friendly and well experienced. Sound guy is amazing at his job when bands play. Great for concerts, local shows, DJ, Parties, all kinds of events. Lots of room inside for large groups. Highly recommend this bar.Chris

Extremely unfprofessional. The show was pushed back an hour and didn't bother to update the crowd that the band isn't going to play till after the movie started even though we had asked if the band was still playing. When we arrived they still weren't ready and the only reason we found out anything was because we asked what was going on after waiting for almost an hour.
