We were lost before we came to Erica. We had two other consultations with lawyers who made things seem complicated. When we sat down with Erica, we were immediately put at ease. She made it feel that something could be done with what we felt was a stressful and impossible case. She assured us that we were not alone in our particular situation and was very calming, yet professional. She was very knowledgeable and experienced. At the same time, she was very honest about what the worst case scenario would be and patient with answering and explaining all of our many questions. She, unlike many lawyers that we have had prior experience with, would be prompt to return our calls, e-mails or letters. We were never left in the dark. In addition to that, her office assistant was very pleasant and relatable. Overall, she made a bad situation not so bad. We highly recommend her.

Erica took the time to hear all of my concerns about my case. She has a talent to redirect back to facts, if her client (me) tends to get overwhelmed with emotions. We won my case and I didn't just feel like a client, Erica made me feel like I mattered which is a lot in my book. I highly appreciate, not just, Erica but her assistant as well!

I had worked with Erica on a child custody case for two years. Getting a hold of her to see what the status was, took several emails, phone calls and finally a letter asking her for termination. It was only then that I finally got a hold of her after two weeks. We finally got things moving and went through the social service evaluation and after the report Erica was very convincing that the other party should give into what we are asking for or full custody will be rewarded to me. Once we got to mediation and we where into it for two hours I could tell she was tired and started saying how we should just take what we are getting because it will be worse for me if we go to court. But I did not I stood firm on my requests. After the agreement the other party has not been honoring the orders and this happened more than once. Erica did nothing to notify the court after I have asked her for several weeks. It has now been 45 days and I was promised the written court stamped orders in 10 days after mediation. I have emailed her several times and got one reply with "if I don't have it by the end of week I will do it." It has been two weeks after the promise and nothing yet and no positive response. Getting a hold of her is a hard time and her truly helping seems honest until we get to court and then her confidence is no longer there. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am not bitter I got what I wanted but only because I stood firm and did not give in. I would have liked a lawyer with confidence and someone who kept there word and wanting to fight for what is right and easy to get a hold of. Not at every call but at least with in the same week.
