The Lahann Law Firm

Mr. Lahann is probably the most advertised attorney in Las Cruces. He handles DWI and criminal cases. My experiences with him were kinda meh, but he seems to be a good guy. In my experience, he showed up late to cases, had to be reminded about who I was and my background. He literally took notes about me right before going up to the judge. Then the judge treated him badly, costing my dearly, which leads me to believe his reputation with other judicial entities isn't respected very much. I'll give 3 stars due to his experience, but that's about it. He should show up a bit earlier and do his homework on his client.

My experience has been less that satisfactory. -5 stars is more like it. I hired this "firm" august 2022 to process my expungement and it has almost been a year and I have not had any success with the case. I have paid me fees in full, I have filed all documents that were required, I have left countless nice and not so nice messages begging for a status update or a follow up. NO ONE has called me. I have had 5 scheduled client-attorney phone calls, in which they have not called. When I try to reach them its the same story- he's busy, he's not available. They were certainly available to take my funds when I hired them, but now they are no where to be found. I feel like I have been scammed. Think twice before you hire this firm.

Mr. Lahann and his staff really went the extra lengths to help me with my case. They were always very respectful, attentive, and easy to communicate with during my long 3-year case process. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a defense attorney and applaud him for his extensive knowledge in New Mexico law. There are many attorneys in Las Cruces and New Mexico and it makes it difficult to choose who is best for you. If you need someone who will always fight for your rights and never give up, then go with Mr. Lahann. A lawyer is an extension of a person during any case, so having someone who you can trust to be that extension is very important. Mr Lahann and his staff are not only that extension they become a part of you and treat you like family. Thank you for everything that you have done!

Jeff is an outstanding litigator. He knows how to mount a proper defense. Having been a former prosecutor he knows all the elements and is not hesitant to exploit any oversights that may be present in a legal matter. He gets results.

Jeff was highly recommended by my cousin's friend whom she had graduated law school with years ago. She said I needed a "damn good attorney" and that's exactly what I got. From the moment I met with Jeff, I knew he had something other attorney's don't..."He genuinely cares about his client's outcome." I have never seen an attorney with so much respect among his peers. But when it came down to business, the prosecution was no match for Jeff's experience! My family and myself were amazed with how he made the prosecution's case fall apart right before our eyes! He exposed every flaw from the way the entire case was investigated by the detective to the lies from the witnesses. Every lie was exposed which only left the truth, which led to a smile and wink from Jeff to my family after the "Not Guilty" verdicts were read. That will forever be engraved on their memory. Thank you Jeff for not just being another lawyer. You are a genuine human being with a gift for Criminal Defense!

Mr. Lahann was amazing. When first hearing of my case, he took the time to come in on the weekend and meet with my family and me. He was patient and kind; he listened to the whole story and gave me hope. When he said, I didn't have to worry; it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
