One word describes this hospital-Terrible. They are rude and unprofessional in all aspects. Never go there. If you have to be taken to the hospital the ambulance will what you to take them to Providence. Don't let them. Tell them you want the patient to go to De Sol or University Medical Center. Neither of Thelma are great but a lot better than Providence.O'H just as a side not when Providence discharges you they make sure to tell that this a private hospital so if you happen to end up there make sure that you have good insurance.

I have had to come in a good handful of times and the doctors nurses and other people involved in the hospital have been wonderful. There is never a long wait and the staff are always attentive and wanting to help me. They have been very helpful with all my medical needs and have been super caring an empathetic. I have been to other hospitals in the El Paso area and this ER seems to have the best staff. I am happy I live so close to them to have their care when I need.We usually can get the help we need fast and are treated and taken care of promptly. No need to spend the night and all day in the waiting room or recovery room.

My family and I come here often and have been treated in the utmost professional and caring manner. All staff and doctors are very attentive and quick. Never a long waiting time to get seen nor is the waiting room packed.

Terrible hospital. Choosing this should be anyone's last resort. Back a few months ago I had a ulcer on my tongue and in a great amount of pain so since the hospital was the closest to our home we went there. The doctor I saw was more interested in talking about his body building then treating me. Once he looked at it he prescribed a numbing solution. During the discharge process the nurse said the prescription would be sent to Walmart . When I went to Walmart to pick up the medication I was advised that the prescription was over the counter and their was no need for a prescription. Image that a nurse telling me that the medication was prescription when in actuality it was over the counter. Add to that the fact that the medicine he has prescribed we already had at our home and it wasn't helping. Avoid this so-called hospital at all costs!

My dr told me to go to the ER immediately since I've been have extreme bleeding with every bowel movement, and that colon cancer runs in my family, the dr that saw me didn't listen to anything I told her, and came to the conclusion that it is due to being constipated, when I have been able to poop everyday, gave me a prescription for stool softeners after I've told her I'm already taking some. And she sent me on my way. I hate that there is not a doctor that actually listens to the patient anymore, just wrote a prescription that isn't going to change anything and send us home. It didn't matter to her that this has been progressively gotten worse and more painful or that it could be very serious, just wanted to send me home. Web md would've done a better job.

People need to take the extra few minutes and drive to El Paso. This hospital is not equipped and ready to take appropriate care of your family. I urge you to continue your drive to a full service hospital with the resources to take care of your family. I cannot begin to describe the experience my family had here. If you are in need of stitches, or you have bronchitis and simply need a prescription, this might be the place to go. Otherwise, go to a regular hospital.

I went in to get information and told them about my ear infection, upon arriving I asked if it would cost to get checked out otherwise I just wanted to ask an experienced medical professional a question I was told that they couldn't discuss that until I got checked out. I went in and was told that I needed antibiotics. I specified that it was simply not true since ear infection go away on their own and that there are dozens of home remedies that could be used since antibiotics are not to be taken lightly. From the start the lady at the counter was rude and seemed bothered by the idea of another patient walking in. I was polite but then my doctor couldn't hold back her facial expressions and I could tell she was annoyed. Not one single decent person spoke to me respectfully and I walked out with no answers the same pain, with the same knowledge I had before arriving however I also have to pay over a hundred dollars for a 10 minute visit in which I was treated like a child. Goodluck getting getting me to pay
