The Happy Camper Clubhouse

Great pizza, Flaming Hot Cheetos with cheese (at least try it once) and most importantly a full beer selection and lovely bartender that knows her drinks. I'm an IPA lover and this is the one place for thousands of miles (I may be exaggerating the mileage because of the hoppy goodness) that gets it all right. Spend the time to look for this place, you won't discover it just driving through town. It's worth the effort

What might lack in ambience is made up for in quality pub food. This place isn't about attitude - just great food, service and supporting local businesses. It's Monday night... Spending the night in town and almost everything is closed in this town on Monday and Tuesday. At the time (hopefully the restaurant will get it updated), Yelp only had this listed as a "bar," so my initial search for a restaurant it was totally overlooked. Luckily, I had 4 hours to research restaurants in the area (cuz I wasn't willing to settle for the other 2 that were open on Monday) - and so glad I took the extra time because this is a great find!!We were a little leary on the drive over as GPS directed us down a dirt road... Don't be scared... The food is definitely worth it!Most items on the menu have a unique twist to the usual - but all were cooked perfectly! - Flaming Hot Cheetos with queso: we HAD to get just to taste at least one - and was worth the $3! - Mozzarella sticks: I don't even usually like mozz sticks (but my husband loves), but these were amazing! They weren't overly breaded like most I've had in the past and were seasoned with herbs which made them even better. - Philly cheese steak with queso: amazing! Steak, onions/peppers cooked until tender. - Burger: not much to say other than, like the other items, it was perfectly cooked and delicious! Oh, and - wait for it... Was served with a perfectly ripe and juicy tomato slice (vs unripe/hard variety some usually serve) + fresh lettuce (not the veiny/brown part!). ... On top of which they have a good beer selection and other select liquor offerings. Most of the customers seem to be from the nearby RV park (which might be the reason for the name of the restaurant - and good for them - as they are located so close to the best restaurant in town!!), but everyone was welcoming and the service was super friendly.My only constructive criticism would be that it's a tad bright inside, but it definitely would not stop us from returning. Hands down this will be our choice for dinner if we're ever back in the area.Guy Fieri and his DDD crew need to put this on their list of places to check out!

Fun little place. Easy walk from nearby RV parks. Dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

If you happen to find yourself in Deming, NM and feel like some great food and drink, make your way to the Happy Camper. It's a non-descript building located on a well maintained dirt road. Don't let that dissuade you. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a great variety of locally sourced beer, wine, and liquor. The food is spot on and obviously made with pride. I highly recommend the Al pastor brisket nachos! The wings are great, as is the cheesesteak. I hear the pizza is quite popular as well. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They can tell you the background about everything they serve. I savored my time there and felt like a welcomed guest. I can't speak highly enough

This place was ok. I ordered the wings and they were out of the two sauces we wanted. Got the Asian bang bang. Tasted like yum yum sauce. Wasn't that good. Also got the maple bourbon. Literally tasted like maple syrup sauce. Was pretty thin also. A side of fries can feed your whole family. Cajun seasoning had a nice kick. The lemon pepper fries were better. The pulled pork was ok. Friend said it was a tad spicy. Quesadilla had A LOT of cheese. The waitress didn't ask if he wanted any protein. He said it was waaayyy to much cheese. I find that blasphemous, but with out a protein to break it up I can see it being a thing. The watermelon cider was on point! The chamoy and tajin added a great added flavor to it. All together this place was pretty average. Could be great. Also, it is down a dirt road and you will think you went down the wrong wrong. You aren't. It's on "happy camper road". Easy enough. They didn't give us utensils or napkins. We had to get our own napkins from inside. People working there are awesome though. 5 stars to them.

We got lucky and found this right beside the RV park we were staying in for one night on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. We loved it!! The beer was great (they do have a full bar) and so was the food and they played Singing Bingo!! What an unexpected awesome Monday night!! 5 stars easy!!!

Great people work there! Passing through from NJ. Their hospitality was awesome! Give them a try! You won't regret it.

We were passing through town and happened upon this little gem. We got there as they were calling last call but they welcomed us and treated us very kindly. Bartenders were very nice. Burger was great. Very cute place with outside seating. Clean and comfy. Looks like they have live music but we missed that. Local spirits and beer sold. Good variety.

Excellent burger. Cooked to PERFECTION. My dinner companion ordered the pulled pork Cuban. So so good. Fries were okay. Crispier fires would've yielded a five star. We each had a beer and sat at the bar. The staff is friendly and the food is really good. Check it out!!
