The Garrison

Good food, friendly staff, great vibe. They have different cultural themed night where people can come & enjoy themselves...

A friend suggested we try The Garrison while "bar hopping" downtown. What a jackpot! The interior is beautiful and the bar is fully stocked. All four of us loved our drinks and we really appreciated the bar tenders advice. I will definitely return on future trips to El Paso.

We came for jazz night. Beautiful venue and amazing staff. Great drinks selections, food was alright.

My husband and I went to the Garrison after seeing an ad for Afrobeats Night. We were curious to try it out. The atmosphere was very chill. The lounge is decorated elegantly while maintaining its own identity. It wasn't as packed as it could've been but there was a good number of people still coming in at 11:30 pm when we left. I enjoyed that it wasn't too packed for the night, as it allowed us to enjoy the seating area. My husband ordered the Dark Horse cocktail with shrimp tacos, while I ordered a London Martini with truffle fries. The shrimp tacos were good, however, a little too salty. They were well-seasoned. Unfortunately, I had to wait 20mins for my truffle fries. The fries themselves were mostly still raw. However, our waitress did get the fries charge taken off. The service was good for how busy it was.

This place is by far my favorite bar! It serves non-alcoholic drinks which are perfect for me. I get to enjoy some drinks alongside my friends. I can see they have tons of options and the presentation looks good.The service was friendly and the ambiance is so relaxing. Great to have a pleasant conversation with some amazing company. The seats are comfortable and well put on. The mural is artistic. I can say I will be going again and again.Provecho!

We went to The Garrison on their opening night around 7:30pm. It wasn't too busy yet and there were still a couple spots to sit and grab a drink, but it definitely got busier within the hour. The cocktail lounge is beautiful! Big comfy velvet chairs, gorgeous chandeliers, and a beautiful floral art piece on one of the walls. I ordered the Lychee Martini and the Butterfly Magic G&T. Both drinks were delicious and I'd definitely get the Butterly Magic G&T again. My partner got The Garrison, which is a smoked drink that they prepare and then open in front of you. It was just as delicious! For opening night, they provided complimentary snacks which I found to be a really thoughtful and yummy gesture. We did have to wait a long time for our drinks, but I think they absolutely have the potential to be a five star place once they get everything working smoothly.

Not a huge food selection, but what they have is good, drinks are great, service was a bit slow, ambiance is great for a nice conversation and some drinks with friends, would recommend

Service great. Food & Cook trash. 8:30 ordered a steak. Told me it was still frozen. What a joke!!! Completely screwed up our date night.

This was a part of the downtown tasting tour! Worst place I've ever been. Waited 45 minutes with no service!! Mind you I had already paid for my meal! I definitely would not recommend this place! Sad because it's a very nice looking place.

Wonderful downtown vibe. Yummy drinks interesting menu and live Jazz. What's not to like. Check it out.
