The Game Sports Bar & Grill - Espina St

On September 19, a group of about 26 people met there in the evening. We were all couples and we requested separate checks. Charlie was the server. He was fantastic, very prompt to any needs, never got confused even when one couple moved to a different section of the long table! Several of us mentioned that the service by Charlie was outstanding. The food was good and I am glad that you have vegetarian and vegan options. Congratulations.

Meh. This decked out sports bar has tvs on every wall and ample bar. The wait staff was attentive even with our large party which was great. Although we did have a large party the food took forever and was just ok. Nothing special or amazing. If you want to watch sports and drink beer you cannot go wrong though!

Came in on a Wednesday for $1 Wing Night and college basketball. Was pleased with both! Hatch wing sauce had the kick but might benefit from a sprinkle of salt. You need to (get to?) buy 8, but you're still looking at $8 for dinner. May be the best wings in LC and certainly the best deal. Excellent service from the bartender. Seem to close a bit early during the week, so don't dilly dally. Recommend!

Typical sports bar amenities that has a divey college bar feel with it being near the NMSU campus. Cheap drink and appetizers specials but the carne asada fries fell a little bit short when ordering them. The meat was more of a shaved sirloin type you would typically find on cheesesteaks. Could be a little cleaner and use some renovating on the inside. Not a bad experience overall but in all honesty would not be my first choice for going out whenever I'm back in LC.

I would best describe The Game as cheap food and drinks in a divey college atmosphere. Domestic beers were on happy hour and the food was alright - pretzel was good but the meat on the carne asada nachos was 100% not carne asada (tasted more like dry shaved beef meant for sandwiches). The atmosphere definitely gives college bar vibes and felt a bit rundown to me, which is absolutely fine if that's what you're looking for but I was hoping for a slightly cleaner sports bar feel - the women's bathroom was a mess during our lunch visit and everything felt quite dated and old. Service was slow but our bartender was helpful enough. With other options in town I likely won't return.

The food wasn't something out of this world but I guess the ambiance inside and outside is what draws people in. It was a nice rainy day for us and we got to sit outside. Although can't blame the weather for happening I can comment on the bad state of the chairs and tables outside. Not so good and at times feared I was going to meet the floor.The service was good, though. Friendly people helping you get your order and the other people seemed to be enjoying the game that was being broadcasted. Aside from that I could see the big potential the place has. Maybe little by little, they'll be making it more comfortable.Provecho!

Doesn't accept Apple Pay so that's extremely inconvenient and not very youth friendly in my opinion because carrying cash around that area of town isn't safe.

I had the French dip sandwich. The meat was dry and the bread was not fresh. The staff was great, however, so they saved the visit. I'm not in a hurry to go back.

Don't dare misspeak. Ya, I could've put more thought into trying to make small talk with a fellow patron who was doing the prayer hands thing while being anxious about the game he was watching and made a comment on "the similarity of sports and religion both involving petitionary prayer". It fell flat. My bad. The bartender then tells me upon giving me the tab that next time I should keep it to myself when there. What the actual F?!?! Hey screw you. And judging from the emptiness, more staff than patrons and general depressing vibe, you did me a favor. I definitely won't be coming back.There's a much better bar across the street I actually considered going to, but thought I'd give you guys a try on a Saturday, being that you claimed it was so dead and depressing last time because it was a Sunday. Well, it was the same on a Saturday.So you guys just suck any day of the week. Being so dead and empty and low energy trash vibe right there at a University just off U Ave says everything anyone needs to know about you guysAnd as far as me and my conversation skills, I'm used to getting tons of buy backs and being treated with favor and having great conversation. Yes, I fell flat, but hey I'm human, but you treated me like total crap and made me feel most unwelcome. So I'll take the hint.Hope to see a better, friendlier and more happening bar at your spot when I pass through again. The Aggies deserve better.

Stopped in to watch a playoff baseball game. We asked our waiter if we could get the game on & he promptly was able to have it on for us. The beer was cheap & they have fairly typical bar food. My husband & I both got boneless wings which were good. Sat in the bar area which had a lot of tv's & it looked like they had a huge outside area with live music.
