The Clifton Hotel

This place is restored and is just a time capsule. The hotel has a grand total of 9 huge suites and a common space and patio that connects to the hotel bar. There are tons of historic details and the environment is as if you entered the Wild West! Such a neat feature to be able to stay and visit the historic bar and hang out on the patio then warm up next to the wood burning stove. I am considering renting the entire hotel for an event! I highly recommend checking this place out!!

This portion of the review concerns the bar, bartender totally screwed up when a gentleman bought us some drinks and instead the girl charged to our tab instead, Her excuse was "he didn't make that clear". WTF you deaf??. He was very clear when doing so, she also charged twice the amount for a drink which would be fine if she had made clear that the drink was in fact a double. We never ordered a double btw. This place is a scam and I recommend you do not come here lest you mind getting ripped off.

We absolutely adored our stay at the Clifton Hotel. The owners were incredibly caring and helpful. The restorations they've done to this old hotel are fantastic and charming. They've got big plans for this hotel and I can't wait to return and see them. The attached bar and patio has got some great deals and the bar manager and Chelle the bartender are extremely friendly. The hotel room is clean and comfortable and has some of the best amenities I've ever seen in a hotel. The muffins and coffee were delicious, but I think my favorite part was meeting the owners to adorable and gentle dogs. This is a great escape from Tucson or Phoenix and we can't recommend it enough.
