Worth a visit . Bit hard to find authentic signage is poor- located on NM State University campus on second floor in the building. Seeds, gifts, sauces, and other pepper stuff!!

Definitely a must see in Las Cruces!I spent a lot of time talking with the researcher who was present. She had a lot of useful information about the research that they were doing at the institute. Also, it's nice that they're selling seeds of the peppers that they developed there. I ended up buying a few packets of seeds to grow some of them when I get back home.
