The Bar

I have long been a patron of 606 W. Missouri, but having moved on from Midland it has been awhile since I visited. My girlfriend and I popped in during a recent pub crawl in Midland, and the place still has it. Efficient service, a great vibe with the photos on the walls, great drinks, and peanuts & popcorn on which to snack. The menu is comprehensive, and the food is tasty. As a bar critic, I rate it as one of the top bars I have known. Keep on keeping on guys.

Have been coming here since probably 2013, I have lots of friends in Midland and The Bar is always our #1 place to stop at when I visit! Everything is so good, especially if you like cheap drinks and good bar food! Service is always excellent. Steak fingers are the way to go, but can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Will always stop here when coming to Midland!!

By far the best steak my husband and I had ever had! Not to the mention the beer was icy cold!

You seat yourself and food is always delicious and hot. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. It's a bar, so the cigarette smoke can get thick, but there's patio seating available. We've been a few times and always enjoy our meal.

I love The Bar. I've been a handful of times, but this was the first time ordering food.Got lunch with coworkers, and we all got filets hahaI ordered my bacon wrapped filet medium rare with green chili mac n cheese and steamed veggies. At ~$26, I thought it was a fair price for a filet and 2 sides! Can't wait to go back!

Get there early , b/c the place gets pretty crowded at lunch time. Decent food and bar drinks.

This is a building in the downtown area with lots of parking spots but it's a pretty busy lot because of how many folks can be seated inside. We came for lunch and I have to admit to being fairly shocked when we walked in that they still allowed smoking indoors. Very unexpected now days. We ended up sitting out on the patio because we wanted to avoid the cigarette smoke and because it was nice outside. The tables were VERY "wobbly" and there wasn't a ton of shade where we were sitting. They have a decent size menu to pick from of traditional American food. There were four of us on a business lunch so we got a nice mix of items between us sll and everything came out perfectly. The waitress was working really hard but she was very busy so it was hard for us to get a check to get out of there. Made for a really long lunch.

Place has been in Midland forever but restrooms are disgusting! Ceiling vents are caked with 10+ years of dust and debris. Makes you wonder what the kitchen and food storage areas look like.

Best place ever . Great good and good service and the ambiance is old oilfield signs and it's great
