The Bagel Shop

Friendly staff, good bagels! They make them fresh every day! I do not enjoy going to Einstein's bagels. They are so rude and unhelpful so the bagel shop is my choice. They do tend to sell out of the popular bagels but call ahead and they'll set your order aside.

Every time I try again I am disappointed. I have been a customer for about 15 years and the last couple of years it's just been down hill. They never have all the chip options as they seem to get them from sams, they are short ingredientes, and never have the baggel I want. Why even open for lunch if you run out of half your bagels before then. Never have full stock of chips or ingredients that is no way to run a restaurant I know I've been in the business for 10 years. If you just want bagels in the morning this is fine but not for lunch sandwiches. This is the last three times I have tried. This time out of everything bagels. Last time out of turkey, before that out of cheese. Every time I can't get the exact order I want its frustrating especially since I really like this place. Sad to see it go down this way.

Here's what I love about the Bagel Shop: the Fifth Avenue bagel sandwich is the bomb. I drive there from Mesa and I-10 just for the Fifth Avenue. I really like the staff - never had a problem with service and have always been treated with courtesy and respect and always receive my order promptly. I used to go to the Resler location every Sunday and was sad when it closed, so I'm happy this place is still around. What do I not like? The Fifth Avenue - and all of their sandwiches - cost $10:95. Huh?? This is El Paso, not New York. When I started going there in 2015, I think the sandwiches cost around $7. I think the place is on the way out.Another thing - they close at 2pm, way too early, and sometimes I go at 1:30 and they are already closed. I drive 15 minutes to get there and would like them to be open during their opening hours. Also they are closed on Sunday, and around holidays they close for a day or two extra, just because of the holiday. The Resler location was open Sunday's. Lastly, they run out of the bagels I like too early in the day. Everyone likes the everything bagel and they rarely have any after noon. I was there at 11:00 today and got some. Einstein's runs out of popular bagels way too early too, so maybe it's a bagel thing. Still, they've been in business a long time, long enough to figure out how many bagels they need to make. I hope the Bagel Shop stays in business but I'm worried. They are near UTEP but their prices are so high I can't imagine many UTEP students going there. I don't see any, anyway. They need to work on their bagel planning and look at their prices. $10.95 for a bagel sandwich is too expensive.

Staff was amazing. Enjoyed their everything breakfast bagel. The black magic coffee was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend coming in.

Came in at 6:47 and there were no bagels made or ready... empty shelves. How can you open a bagel shop at 6:30 and not be ready to sell?... disappointing

Honestly, thank you Bagel Shop for existing. You serve fresh, made from scratch bagels to a city that literally has no other options other than chain fast food (I.e., Starbucks, Einstein bagel). However, there aren't too many options most mornings, and the cream cheese options could be more. Perhaps a veggie cream cheese option? I have been satisfied with my bagel both times I have visited, but the bagel is never toasted enough for my taste. Just okay.

I love the bagel shop!! I was so sad when the northeast location closed; however, anytime I'm on the westside , I literally crave a bagel. My favorite is the cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese. So delicious!!

Great variety of bagels. I tried the "turkey bagel sandwich", I think that's what it's called... It was was really good. The coffee was also good and well balanced. Friendly staff. A+

Old bagels. Tried them twice they have no taste and are not fresh. Horrible can believe they are still in business

The best bagels I have ever eaten. Good variety and excellent service. Their Baileys are incredible!
