The Arizona Sunset Inn

Hotel review for Arizona Sunset Inn: Wilcox Arizona. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Arizona Sunset Inn. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was filthy and hadn't been cleaned.Upon entering the room, I was shocked to find dirty wet towels on the bathroomfloor full of blood. Looked like a crime scene. If I'm not mistaken it could have being blood from a women's period. A large laceration on somebody's arm. Or the towels used to clean a crime. That's how much blood they were stained with. Hard to see on the picture. But when the towels were fully opened you could appreciate the crime a lot better. The trash cans were still filled with garbage from the previous guest, and the bed had clearly been used without being changed. The body shape of the last person was still present on the bed. Gross. To make matters worse, the room had a terrible odor that lingered throughout my stay. I was really looking forward to a comfortable and relaxing stay, but the condition of the room made that impossible.I called the person that checked me in several times but she didn't answer nor called me back. It was 1 am cause it was a last minute booking and I just needed a place to rest. I covered the bed with a sheet I brought with me and used my own blanket and pillow. And fell asleep for 6 hrs. In the am I told the person that checked me in and she didn't seemed concerned. What a terrible service. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your time and money and go to a better place. The pictures in their web site look very good but the place is worse in real life. Save your trip. This hotel reminds me of the scary movie "vacancy". Creepy. I hope that management will take steps to address these issues and ensure that their rooms are properly cleaned and maintained for future guests. Until then, I would not recommend staying at the Arizona Sunset Inn.

The bed was comfortable, the location was convenient, and the staff was friendly. (We accidentally left our cheese from the wine festival in the fridge in our room when we checked out. Luckily, we were still driving around the town and the front lobby saved it in case we came back, instead of tossing it away.) The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options such as pancakes, French toast, and breakfast burritos. A cute fur baby will greet you inside as well. It's also a short walk to a charming coffee shop called Dos Cabezas. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again when we visit Willcox.

Quiet spot off the interstate. Clean room in front of the abandoned pool. No swimming here. And who cooks your breakfast to order anymore!

This was such a wonderful stay here at Arizona Sunset Inn!! We are on our trip home from viewing the solar eclipse in Texas and we arrived here at around 11:30pm. The check in process was so easy thanks to Paul. The room was very clean and looks freshly remodeled as well. Beds were super comfy (comfier than mine at home) and we got a great sleep.Included is free breakfast and this isn't just any free breakfast, this is free made to order breakfast. I got the bacon and egg burrito and it was fresh and delicious. Denise was very friendly and helpful.Anytime I go through Wilcox, AZ from now on... I know where i'm staying!

This is the cleanest place to stay in Willcox. It's nice to come back to a hotel room that smells good, the bed sheets smell clean, and have real breakfast cooked for you in the morning. I hope they have continued success and don't let standards slide to save a few bucks.

Clean and Quiet room at reasonable prices. Ms. Brenda was friendly and helpful. The location was awesome. About 6 miles in from the I10 but worth staying here.

We loved this little place! The people running it are NICE, the rooms were clean and comfortable, they welcomed our pets, fed us a delicious breakfast. What a find. Perfect location for walking to the wine tasting.

Love this Inn! The room was very clean, the bed was cozy, they gave us a complementary upgrade to the suite (without even telling us -- it was just available and we noticed our room was larger than expected!), I could go on and on.They literally make you breakfast in the morning. French toast, breakfast burrito, eggs, cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc. etc. There's a sweet elderly dog that will greet you in the main office. The tv's in the room were huge and updated. The water pressure was great.There is a grassy area for dogs. Right next door is a cute coffee shop. It was quiet. Check-in and out was easy. Everyone was very kind. The location is on the main street, which is very cute driving in.If you need a place to stay, pick this place! I can't wait to book again on my next road trip.

Everything and every one was amazing including Mazy or Macie the house dogwould come back here again if given the opportunity.
