Another fun angle of the damages.
This is the water stain in the closet that we discovered on the 3rd day of the lease. Water bubble hadn't formed yet.
Check out the water bubble.
Gratuitous shot.
Not a very good pic, but shows the source of the water dripping.
Welcome!

Garbage!!! I lived at this complex nearly 5 years and was very happy with the maintenance and office staff until the office staff completely changed and service went down the drain. As soon as I moved out, my remaining balance was sent to collections. (Which they said was standard procedure) I was told I could pay the balance at the office and they would send it (to corporate) for me, which I did. A month later, I was being sent more letters that my balance was still remaining. I called the office to address it and never received a call back from the staff and much less the manager. I called the bank and they had cashed the check, I called the corporate office and they said my balance was paid in full. 6 months after moving out, I'm still getting calls about my balance.

They hit me with over $300 in fraudulent charges when I left El Paso on military orders. Claiming El Paso electric billed me but in reality I had zero balance with El Paso Electric.

Place is God awful the managment took three weeks to fix our ac in the middles of summer with a pregnant wife. And when it comes to stuff that was broken before you moved in . You might as well just repair it yourself the maintenance is more concerned about chilling than actually working and the managment is always rude especially this one woman you will know when you see her she is the super skinny one in the office . Anytime you went to pay a bill she just looks at you like why are you bugging her and will give you attitude.

horrible apartments they shut down your water at least 2 times a month and say it's for fixing leaks and only give a 12 hour notice . also when you put in a work order they say someone will be there to fix your problem today but I've put a service request for a ceiling fan about 6 months ago 3.Times as well as recently put in a request for the air conditioner about 4 time this week and have not had anyone show up. now all this upsets me when it about 100 plus degrees because it's summer. But when you live here and you want your place to feel like a home and they put notices on everyone's door saying they will charge you a find for 35$ if you have furniture on your patio they do not consider patio furniture it really just makes you feel like this place isn't even a home it's ridiculous I cannot wait to move out of this place.

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years, before moving here I didn't look at reviews. My application process was smooth, they were friendly/fast/good communication through my entire application process. The unit compared to the photos weren't catfish which was good! My unit was Newly renovated with grey white vinyl floors, and white grey themed kitchen. Rate is/was amazing! Cons with 100% honesty: Floors don't have a seal so they get dirty very fast, but overall pretty.Kitchen counters have no seal so they stain with a drop of anything colored and won't come out. Ceilings are popcorn incase that matters.Paint on everything chips down to the base bc it's been repainted so many times.Water is always being cutt off for "repairs" for 6+ hrsAir unit sucks doesn't go inter 72 degrees I haven't kept a neighbor over 6 months Management very unprofessional when it comes to any type of issues.Off/on bugs due to pipes and etc. Received a lot of discrimination when received Financial aid. When you request corporate they basically refuse to give you the information. The drama of living here overwhelms the qualities that you wouldn't mind dealing with. They are con artist, and very manipulative. At the beginning of my stay I ignored a lot of red flags and things going on around me. Almost every one that knows of the complex speaks poorly. If you need somewhere to live, and get a semi good unit don't care about constant water interruptions and never speak to management you'll survive.

I absolutely HATE these apartments, i was so excited when I was first moving in. I had a lottt of problems with my water at my old apartment and specifically asked if they had any issues with the water being shut off, they said no and that was a big lie. I had issues with the water being hot I only had cold water when I first moved in. Then they shut off the water almost every day when there was an issue. I work night which means I NEED water during the day as I am Home, they had a project turning off the water for 6 WEEKS !!!! From 9am - 6pm, even after the water project was complete do they have issues and need to turn the water off to fix it. Some of the tenants living there are HORRIBLE & will make your stay miserable & when you have problems the staff will not try help you out or have your back. The staff is NOOOO HELP. MY CAR WAS STOLEN OFF THOSE APARTMENTS COMPLEXES and when I asked for some type of help, they couldn't give it to me. They have NO cameras around the apts and they lied and said their main camera at the front wasn't working ??? Then said I needed a cop to come and tell them to hand over the video recording after they told me the camera wasn't working ?????? THEIR STAFF ARE FAKE NICE WHO DONT CARE . Overall DO NOT recommend living here. We hate it here and cannot wait til our lease is up.

Wow. The other reviews on here are quite horrific. This one wouldn't have ended on a good note either if it wasn't for that badass Jessica who swooped in and saved the day. Three days into a lease and we discover water damage on the bathroom ceiling, with actual water leaking too! On that 3rd days fateful morning I get in touch with Miss Harris at the office and within 15mins she had the repair folk cracking sheet rock. She did a bunch of other really good work as well, which shows me she's quite the pro. I left a 3 star for the darn headache that resulted from having to rearrange everything to get new carpet AFTER my parents moved in, as well as for the as-of-yet (4/3/2019) unresolved water stain in the bedroom closet.

The two and a half months I spent living here thusfar with sliding glass door open 24/7 in the freezing cold due to the putrid air quality inside my apartment and concerns about the safe use of my heater - both which made me and my pet sicker with each passing day - have been a total nightmare. Management has been all but completely unresponsive to my complaints, totally ignored my health concerns and problems altogether, failed to complete any work they did perform to a logical or responsible conclusion, refused to perform any sort of comprehensive inspection of my apartment and refused to relocate me claiming FPI has absolutely nothing available in all of El Paso. I would still be living with a gaping hole in my ductwork that clogged my intake filter with mounds of black lint, brought debris in from the attic and littered my apartment with a constant stream of lint, if not for the HVAC inspection I personally had to order and pay for and even then, they refuse to reimburse me, give me a concession on my rent, clean/treat the system or my apartment - despite my symptoms. Plus, told me I was not allowed to treat my apartment myself or, have any other kind of inspection done on my unit lest, they kick me out. In fact, I was told I would be evicted if I tested for asbestos, refused accommodation when at my sickest and never once had them question what type of symptoms I was having. Even when my respiratory problems got so bad that I had to go to the ER and have for the last two weeks had to stay elsewhere, they've refused to take responsibility or, even look further for the source of the problem despite the fact that I reported I was still having instantaneous reactions in my eyes, throat and lungs that were akin to having acid thrown in my face after the hole was sealed when running my heater. Their only solution has been that I move and release them from any responsibility! This, coupled with the fact that I have learned there was a flood in my apartment that poured water from the ceiling in the apartment below and they have only now - more than 3 months later - replaced the damaged sheetrock for that resident, have earned management at Terrace Hills the title of slumlords in my opinion. Don't even stop in to this place if you want any of the normal protections provided by responsible landlords to their tenants. You, like me, might end up out on the streets sans apology or the slightest concern. Though my apartment looked nice enough after being renovated before my move-in, the company didn't even follow through with that effort. My plumbing fixtures are crap. I twice had to call staff to fix my bath faucet handle. It still doesn't work properly. My kitchen faucet fell off in my hand and though the regional asked me if I had any other maintenance complaints - any complaints at all, even the most simple - concerning my unit, after being told there's missing insulation around the door and visibly torn and missing insulation in my windows, no one has followed up or, appeared. No, all she really wanted was to make me look like I was being petty in issuing a long list of endless complaints. Again, no true concern of any kind. Just another of the many games this management team likes to play. They and the lies they've constantly spewed to make me look bad, them good, - e.g, my neighbors tell me 3-4 people have moved in and almost immediately out of here in the last year yet, the maintenance man claims the last resident was here two years without problem - while not even caring what condition I was in or, if my apartment was even habitable are my biggest complaint of all. I am in effect homeless without as much as an apology, any semblance of either empathy or, sympathy from them for anything I have or, am enduring here 6 weeks after informing them of the problem. Any reputable company would have been up there inspecting the unit, discovering the problem, treating the apartment and putting this to rest within a few short days. Not FPI. Go elsewhere and save yourself the possibility of living through a similar nightmare.
