Am I a glutton for food and punishment? Yes, I am...As a mom making 1k+meals daily for picky kids, when I get a chance to "run errands" and pick up food, I'll get as much variety as I can. Filipino and Mexican food today. In the spirit of eating good and supporting local, I made a U-turn and got some tacos on the way home from the Eastside. Taquizas Los Pistoleros is right off the 10 Freeway and they're always dependable for delicious tacos. If you're gonna get any type of food you need to transport, why not pick a place known for their catering? I swear they package everything so well and beautifully, it's like dining in. The last time I went there, they had a 5 taco special with a small drink for $5. Now they have 4 taco special with large drink for $7.95. It's still a huge amount of food, no matter the price changes, so I didn't mind. I specifically went on Sat. because some people said that I had to try their Al Pastor as well as their Barbacoa on the weekend. Omg they were right. The Al Pastor was soooo flavorful and the chunks were huge so you could taste the seasoning as well as their pineapple chunks. Definitely get these.Their Barbacoa was soft and fatty. Really tender meat, not dry. I'm a fan. I got their limeade as a drink but hubby stole that too. Chris came out and took my order and I guess he recognized me from my posts, because he gave me some quesabirria to try. I've tried quesabirria at a truck at the Taco Shop Barbacoa y Birria Estilo Sinaloa, and it was really nice, very flavorful. I liked the consomme there. I've tried it at the food truck rally at Placeres Culposos and their actual tacos held up a lot better when dipped than other places. Taquizas Los Pistoleros quesabirria is a good version as well. They definitely give you a lot more cheese...and the consomme is more like a salsa. Thick with a kick.I wanted to support his business and saw that the restaurant was asking for donations to help his Tia with expenses since their breadwinner passed, so I have him some cash. I really enjoyed their catered food so much at a reception I attended in mid-March this year, then BAM, COVID-19 hit El Paso, and I never went to try this restaurant until today. I was just noticing their daily specials appearing on my Fb timeline lately, so I finally decided to venture out to try their curbside pick up special today. It was 4 pcs tacos al pastor, rice & refried beans, salad, guacamole and assorted salsas and lemonade. All that for $5.00 (cash, if you use a card they'll charge for taxes). What a deal!?Customer service was pleasant, prompt and courteous. When I arrived, there was another car waiting for his change. The whole transaction took me less than three minutes.I called beforehand and placed my order. That probably helped since they were expecting me to show up in about 20 minutes to pick it up.Food was excellent even though I didn't eat it right away for another 20 minutes or so. It tasted sooo good. Well, I was very hungry that was for sure.Highly recommended. I may use their catering service for an event one of these days when we all can get together again. Why don't you check this outfit for yourself??

If it's closed do not worry and look up number on Facebook. Always someone to answer when they are closed to take orders for catering. Staff is professional and food is tasty! The set up is clean and servers were friendly. You can't go wrong hiring them for events.

I had Taquizas Los Pistoleros at a graduation party recently. They cater to special events. Their specialty is all types of tacos with different salsas to choose from. Although I wanted to try their chicken tacos, I only had some of their asada (steak) tacos. Asada and ground beef are my favorite types of tacos. They weren't bad! The meat could've used a little bit more flavor but it wasn't completely bland either. I added some red chile de arbol, guacamole and lime. I enjoyed the flavors of the chile de arbol and guacamole very much. Their lemonade tasted great. It had a good flavor and it wasn't too sweet or sour. The flavor was just right. Their rice was also good. A plus for me was that it didn't have onions.The guy who was serving us was very nice and polite. I get annoyed when I continue to get called ma'am but it's understandable...especially if an employee is much younger than me. He was around 18, maybe 20 at most. I would recommend this catering business for a special event. It would also depend on cost for me.

Taquizas Los Pistoleros catered at a Speech and Debate National Qualifying Tournament last week. If you know anything about Speech and Debate Tournaments, it's that they last all day so you need to be properly fed! Taquizas Los Pistoleros provided nine, yes NINE, different salsas and three types of meat plus options for vegetarians! They served lemonade that was not too sweet and very refreshing! They provide top notch customer service and you will be guaranteed a savory meal!!

Food was excellent. and the price was even better. I looked around and Los Pistoleros had the most variety. It included cheese burgers and lemonade and more then 9 different salsas so delicious! I will definitely book again the food was great and the service from the guys was perfect thank you taquizas los pistoleros.

I can see why the tacos were so cheap. I placed an order for 4 pastor tacos with a baked potato for 7.99. When i received my food i noticed they put 5 fries and when i asked about the potato they said they ran out and "upgraded" to fries. When i asked why didn't they inform me they were out of potato's she simply said we upgraded you to fries. THERE WAS ONLY 5 FRIES!!! the meat was also very bland and they only gave me 1/4 a lemon.

Amazing food and very professional people! Perfect for any party and they provide everything you need from paper goods and utensils to drinks and even food for the kids. Everyone loved the food as well. Highly recommend!

Honestly these are the only tacos we order catering from baby showers to many parties! Great food and very respectful service!!

Los Pistoleros catered an event for us Feb2021. The food was amazing and everyone was in love. We ordered extra food, glad I did because everyone went for 2nd and 3rd. Will definitely use again!!!
