This is the perfect stop on the way to Big Bend. The tacos were incredibly tasty and the price was right-- about $9 for this plate! The service was very fast.

I was seated within a minute or two, they were busy. The dining area is cozy, with a warm buzz of chatter. I knew I was In the right place with that wonderful smell of Mexican home cooking filling the room. The weather was very windy and cold, so I opted for the Caldo de Res, it was worth it! I had to let it cool for a bit, it didn't have the 1/4 corn cob in It like the photo on the menu shows, maybe they were out? The cup of extras for the soup had rice, chopped onion, and cilantro, and also a cup of lime wedges. The goodies made the soup amazing, and I t hit the spot. The flour tortillas that came with the soup were good. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was decent. You have to pay at the register. You get up and pay when you're ready. They have your ticket on the counter by the register. I'd eat here again.

A perfectly good restaurant to eat at while traveling on I-10 in the middle of nowhere Texas. I was heading back from El Paso to Houston and pulled this place up on YELP, which really was one of the few restaurants available that wasn't a chain or eating in a gas station, so we pulled on into a crowded hustling scene on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It's your basic Tex-Mex serving everything you would expect in a pleasant environment with the wait staff and kitchen moving at light speed to serve the crowd.Yep, I would do it again on my next trip to the Marathon, Marfa, Big Bend and El Paso area

SO GOOD!!!Food: 5/5This place was delicious! Picked up food here on our drive back from big bend and it did not disappoint. There is a drive through, but we walked in. Got the fajita plate as well as an el pastor taco. Fajita plate was soo good and so were the rice and beans that came with it! They even gave us a little to go chips and salsa, salsa was great! Would love to come back and dine in sometime.Service:3.5/5Unfortunately when we were there one of the card readers was down so service was pretty slow. The staff was very kind and assured us / made sure we had what we needed. Great people, just hope they make sure the systems are working.

So glad we found this place on our road trip. Welcoming staff and cute decor. The food looked and smelled delicious. The. Hips were good and not greasy. Salsa was just right, had just enough kick not over done. We ordered tacos (asada and Al pastor). Both were tender, juicy and flavorful. Definitely recommend this place! Overall great experience.

Most AMAZING place you'll encounter within 300 miles of this place. Everything is incredibly flavorful, speedy service and overall good vibes. We got the ribeye plate, birria, and queso. All dishes were a 10/10.

Decent find off the I-10. Friendly staff, neat decor and clean! Had to get it to go since we were traveling with our pup and didn't wait long for our to go order. We decided to order two different types of Enchilada dishes and stick to something we knew although the unique choices (ie. tongue tacos!) sounded interesting. The Cheese Enchiladas were served with brown gravy (can't recall proper name at the moment) and melted yellow cheese. These were DELICIOUS! The flavor combination was on point and the homemade corn tortillas were so soft! We could have just ordered them and left super happy! The Enchiladas Verdes - we switched out the chicken for beef, not realizing it would be ground beef as to something like carne asada or steak. They didn't ask what kind of beef and we didn't even think to say no ground beef. So that is on us! They were good, but we were a bit disappointed on the flavor profile after eating the cheese ones. However, the melted white cheese and fresh corn tortillas were on mark. Their refried beans were authentic and salted perfectly. I am not a fan of Mexican rice, therefore I don't think it would be fair to comment on them, even though I do try a bite every time thinking one day someone will sell me on them. LOLWe also ordered Horchata's to drink and they had a good flavor and were refreshing! Lastly - their Salsa was a nice surprise, had a nice kick!Def worth a stop - looks like a local favorite and they have quite the array of choices between your usual Mexican flair to unique out of the box choices! PS sorry about the pics - hubby was hungry and sometimes doesn't like to wait for me to take photos! LOL!!
