Tanya's Gridiron Sports Bar

Always an enjoyable experience. An extremely laid back atmosphere. Great prices. Even better staff!

Close to our home, Tanya's is a sports bar with a limited menu. But one item on the menu, the chicken wings, are the absolute best I've had in El Paso. Crispy, flavorful, and huge! There is a pool table, darts, and a cool machine that simulates bowling, shuffleboard and other games. There is also an internet jukebox. The draft beer is some of the coldest I've ever had. Football and other sports are shown on 10 or so televisions. There is also a patio and a separate room for parties.Two stars for this review comes from last night's visit, not every visit. Other times were really fun. Last night, they stopped serving food to include the wings. Minor, but the real issue came when this man was completely blackout drunk bothering all of the customers. He sat next to me, offered to buy me a drink, but i had to order it his way. I turned him down. He said I was an a$$hole because I didn't want his drink. He moved on to the next guy and completely told the drunk to go away. He moved down one more to a regular and kept pulling his hat off. I asked the bartender to do something, but she said she didn't want to cause trouble. The drunk then began flipping off some young ladies there with their friends. Finally the bartender asked him to leave. It took help from customers, but finally he was gone. I hope this isn't going to become a regular occurrence.

Under pour and over price. No carbonated drinks???? How do you make mixed drinks? Great location, but you can tell they are trying to save money.

The place has a good feel, beer is good, but the menu was pretty sparse. Expected a larger selection of food. Nothing but finger foods.

Tanya's new location is huge and has a decent sized patio. Parking lot is on the small side, but better than the old location. They have a full size beautiful pool table, pretty rare for a bar.FYI, Tanya's is listed as a Steelers bar on many fan sites and while the old place did have one piece of signage, it hasn't made it over to the new location. But there is a big Dallas Cowboys sign up, so I guess Tanya's is no longer a Steeler bar. Oh well, not like I would be anywhere other than in front of my own TV for a Steeler game anyway(unless traveling.) Just thought I would mention it for the Steeler fan that happens to be in El Paso on gameday.

Love this bar. Very gay friendly. I have been going to Tanya's since they had their older bar by Chico's. My favorite bartender were Candice and Tanya. Not only did they know there shit but they were/are beautiful. Their old location was cozy and it was very man cave, however, their new location....WOW! Very Metro man cave. It has great hardwood floors, flat screen tvs all over the joint. they even have a banquette section. The patio itself is enough for me. I love going out there, they use to have a huge grill outside, I dont thing they use it anymore. They also have some finger foods. the wings are good. not too much to say about the food.The drinks and the prices are all great!!! they dont try and rape you cuz they have a new look. They are holding true to the quality of their drinks and the affordability of the experiance. Ask them for the HONEY SHOT, youll love it!Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Wether you want to watch the game, listen to some music, shoot some pool or throw some darts, Tanya's has it all. My wife and I were there recently for my wife's reunion. We had a great time!I even met Tanya and she is a hoot! She's the lovely lady pulling quadruple duty as owner, bartender, bouncer, etc...Go make a stop off at Tanya's!

Adriana is the best bartender in the area. Very inviting and talkative. Mixed crowd, mostly down to earth laid- back. Bar food available.

Excellent customer service. Especially to your US Soldiers. Great drinks. Juan, is the best, so attentive.
