Taco Real

Dude this place is the bomba! Service was hella great from the get go! The manager makes you feel like family. The restaurant is really cool and feels very clean. Service is super prompt and comfy. The food! So this has to be one of the greatest looking buffets . I am a skeptic whenever a buffet is involved. I surveyed the buffet before i decided bcuz it looked freakin fresh. THE JOY! The chicken was juicy well cooked the panakes "fluffy-as-fck! " lol thr tortillas are beutifully hand made- this restaurant is like an egg throw from juarez mexico ! the potato and eggs are lovingly made with chorizo freshly fried chicharron ! i put it on everything even in ma coke! speaking of the coke i asked for "strong coke " not that flat stuff. the waiter paused turned around and brought me the crispest coke this side of the border!!! great place must try !!

Great, simple and tasty tacos. Friendly staff and exceptionally reasonable prices.I ordered from the menu as the taco bar was closing. I recommend that, quality over quantity!

My family and I went in for a late lunch and were surprised to find only a few trays of food (the restaurant is buffet style). The waiter only came to refill our drinks once but only because my dad motioned for him. We later learned that the place was getting ready to shut down for the day. Had we known, we wouldn't have bothered. The food they did have was ok but definitely not anything special or memorable. My main gripe is the little selection and still being charged full price -- close to $40 for 3 of us! Again, had we known, we would've gone elsewhere.

I love this place! Every time I come into El Paso my family and I eat here. The service is great and the food is even better. They treat you like family here. I feel like I'm right at home with grandma. Owners are awesome! Thanks taco real!

I can't believe nobody has written about this place yet. Taco Real is a dangerously delicious Mexican restaurant. I say 'dangerously delicious' because it is an all-you-can-eat Mexican Buffet! In my experience, Mexican Buffet is not a good thing (think Pancho's), but Taco Real really delivers with large quantities of excellent food.

Hector was so kind! Nice buffet and very clean. Quick and affordable lunch. We had almost every thing on the buffet between the two of us and it all tasted wonderful. Wall plugs for cell phones at three tables.

I went here on Sunday morning for breakfast . I'm not a buffet person at all, and didn't have high expectations for El Paso Mexican buffet, due to past experiences. First of all it's clean not greasy, the coffee was good, the Menudo was the best tasting I found in this part of town , and the buffet was big fresh and well attended. It was a good local breakfast, and worth going back.

Last time we will ever go there, very poor buffet, BEAN TACOS!, really, BEAN TACOS, and very poor salad bar, oh, and to top it of they ran out of tacos and it took them half our to bring some more.I guess it's time move on to another place.

Came for lunch. The selection is good. Ribs, tacos, flautas, Chile relleno, mole, caldo de pollo, Chinese noodles, arroz con Leche, and so on. Aguas frescas. The tacos that come with the buffet are made to order. They certainly fill you up. The service was excellent, very attentive and polite. What gives the restaurant 3 stars is the taste. It was lacking.

Worst service!!! Went in, sat down and waited for 15 minutes, this was after making eye contact with the staff. No waiter or anyone came to take our order. So we left. Avoid this place if you are hungry, they won't even acknowledge your presence.
