Sushi Freak Las Cruces Telshor

Another update on Sushi Freak. They are SLOOOW! It took over an hour to make one roll and a poke bowl. The prices have gone up way too much and I dang near walked out and asked for a refund because they are so messy. There was a new employee working with a shirt that was way too small and mounds of fat hanging out. I was able to hold in my disgust because I really wanted a poke bowl. The poke bowls start out at a decent price but once you add a few things it becomes ridiculous. $25 for a poke bowl is just too much. It wasn't even filled completely and after waiting so long, I won't be going back for a long time. Get yourselves organized. It's not that hard to mix a few things in a freakin' bowl. Rolling one sushi roll doesn't take a genius either. I'll be going to Chalkboard Menu for now on since they know what the hell they are doing and the quality is actually good for Las Cruces.

I love sushi so I was pretty excited to try this place. Cute decor with Asian snacks and merchandise. I ordered poke bowl and sushi. The poke bowl wasn't too bad I guess because of the sauce but the sushi was pretty bad. Overcooked rice and too much of it too. Would probably not return to this place.

Polite staff, clean interior and a unique sushi roll selection. That is the first time I've had greenchili with sushi, and it was good! I would eat here again.

Sushi is definitely great and I love the burrito I get, but the staff is always somewhat unfriendly and service is SLOW. they aren't in a hurry but the sushi sometimes is worth the wait and hassle!!

Prices have stabilized since I last wrote a review. I still love the Poke Bowls and they are a healthy option to any other fast food.

Sushi Freak has reached another level...I had no idea they have spicy masago!! Omg, if you like spice, you must add this to your rolls! I got the spicy tuna and the sunset rolls, both fresh and delish!!

Honestly this place is usually great but the delivery girl was trash. She left my hood outside of the hospital I work at in the hot sun without notifying anyone. My instructions were clear to leave it I side with the front desk.... Sushi left outside = no lunch and a total waste of $50

I ordered a sushi burrito and asked for salmon in it. I would say that it had pretty fresh ingredients and it is sorta filling, but it was definitely overpriced. I did not like how everything was an additional cost. If you want more than two toppings, you would have to pay for it additionally. That also happened with all the sauces too. I feel like the standard amount was a fair price until you began ordering and then I just saw the price keep going up and up and up. If you came here thinking you were going to get a pretty decent meal for a good price, I would re-look at the menu and figure out how much it's really going to cost you because they are not upfront with you about it until they already place the "extras" on your burrito.

I thought I'd give this location another chance. Regret. They're out of chopsticks today. Still serving "for here" orders in to-go containers and giving soy sauce packets instead of having ready to pour containers on the tables. Just need to remind myself to go to the Lohman location. This one is just lazy.

A poor fast food shop. NO Sushi. California rolls are about it. Had what was supposed to be coconut shrimp. Could not find any coconut. Spring roll not bad but not fully cooked. Chopped raw salmon good. Very pricey for what you get.Will not return.
