Sushi Babe Tacos And More

i ordered the mushroom burger and there was barely any mushrooms in it. the meat wasn't juicy at all either. the only good thing about it was the fries, those were very good with the spicy mayo! I also got an horchata and it wasn't homemade, it was the powdered one. i payed $20 for it all together.. very disappointing :(

I love this food truck, and the customer service is great! I love the breakfast burritos, sushi rolls, and hibachi bowls. My favorite is their El Paso Roll- so good! I definitely want to try everything on their menu. I love food trucks, and this is definitely one of my favorites in EP. 100% recommend.

I always try to support small businesses, but unfortunately, this experience was a letdown. My elotes were burnt, and the strong flavors of the burnt corn and consommé de pollo just didn't blend well. The sushi was served hot and wasn't fresh. Also, there were no toppings available for the tacos, and instead of offering a slice of lime, she puts it directly into the taco for you. I literally threw my money in the trash. She is overpriced as well!!!!!

I usually like to support local businesses, but I was very dissatisfied with the service, quality, and price at the Sushi Babe food truck. The lady at the window was not customer-friendly. I asked for two barbacoa burritos, and when she proceeded to charge me, she said the total would be $24.00. I assumed the burritos would be large, similar to those at Rafa's or Bonnie's, but to my surprise, they were just normal-sized flour tortilla burritos.I mentioned that the burritos were overpriced, especially considering their size and the amount of meat inside. She simply responded by saying that barbacoa prices are very high. However, I can get a pound of barbacoa for $24.00 at most local places, and that usually includes salsa and corn tortillas. The price for these two burritos was ridiculous, and on top of that, the meat was dry and salty.

Great service but the food isn't great. I tried the steak tacos which weren't very seasoned and has what was basically ground beef on them. The tortillas were disgusting. I also tried the pokebowl and even though it says you can customize it, I was given all the ingredients even though I asked for no mango or lettuce. I was also charged extra for only getting one type of meat. Very disappointed.

I ordered the poke bowel with ahi tuna and crab meat. I didn't know poke bowls came with lettuce. I was expecting edamame and sesame seeds but instead there was a lot of freezer burn spring lettuce, a few still frozen mango pieces and 3 half cucumber slices. The portion was small for the ahi tuna which had no flavor and the crab was imitation strands. Not recommended for 15 bucks.

This food truck is not it. I ordered two rolls and they were both cold. The tuna roll came with the tuna not in the roll but pieces sitting on top. 27 for two rolls!They have no sushi ginger, sashimi or chopsticks. And the rolls had no flavor. Commissary sushi is fresher, tastes great and much cheaper.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The food is horrendous and the customer service was terrible when I tried to bring up concerns. Their food will make you severely sick as they are not aware of how to prepare, inspect and avoid cross contamination. They were not even aware of how food poisoning works. Save your time and money. The owner is extremely defensive and will acknowledge where they messed up.
