Mr. Joe and his staff are professional and courteous. We had our swamp converted to AC. I was impressed by the superb customer service and meticulous work they did for us. Thank you Joe, Donna for taking care of us!

I typically don't review non-food related businesses, but Sunshine Hearing and Cooling is worthy of a 5 star mention. I have been using Sunshine for 5 years now for 3 different properties, and they are without a doubt the best, and most on honest air conditioning company I have ever dealt with. Their owner Joe is one of the nicest men you could know. It has been my experience that if I have an issue with one of my AC units, they are able to come the same day I place a call, and they arrive when they say they are going to arrive. On a few occasions when a part is required that they don't have, they are able to install it faster than their usual quoted time. If you're tired of calling companies that don't show up, don't return your call, our do a bad job, save yourself the trouble and give Sunshine a ring.

Personable and professional technician did an excellent job of winterizing my heating and cooling system at a fair and competitive price. Best of all they squeezed us in when no one else would.

Calling in the receptionist was amazing. In my time of crisis, she calmed me and helped immediately with suggestions on how to do quick fix issues and when that didn't work she told me me someone would be with me in 20 min. Technician arrived within 30 minutes & assessed my situation quickly. Identified the problem- water pump- and headed out to get the part. This took a bit longer than he estimated but understandable as the part my have been out of stock at the supply store. Once the new water pump was installed, HE EVEN CLEANED UP! He offered to their maintenance service to help with my unit twice a year which I GREATLY appreciate!When I called to thank them, the owner was available to hear my feedback.

I have used Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning over the last 5 years and they will give you outstanding service every time. Sunshine Joe and his staff KNOW what they are doing and you can trust them to get the work you need done and it is done right. I am very happy to have them available and given them my highest recommendation!

What amazing service! Our heater broke down overnight and when I called first thing in the morning, Joe said he'd be out within the hour to look at it. He arrived on time, fixed the simple issue, cleaned our heater, and even performed a carbon monoxide check! The price for all this blew me away, and Joe could not have been more polite and professional. These are my heating guys from now on! Recommend 10/10! Thank you, guys!

I would leave no stars if possible. Contacted the company on Friday the 10th of June to set up appointment for a AC unit that was not cooling. They gave me an appointment for Monday between 8 and 1. Waited all morning and they did not show up nor call to say that they were running late. I called at 1:30 and could not get a clear response from anyone until around 3:30. They told me that the technician who was assigned would call me soon. It is now Wednesday the 15th and still no call.

Called them for a yearly service. Was quoted $120. Hosed the unit down with a water hose and vacuumed the furnace inside the house. Freon was low so they took it from 70% to 100%. Total bill: $334. Un- freaking-believable.

My AC unit has been periodically freezing up and I have had Sunshine out to troubleshoot the problem. Both times, I paid the service call fee and once paid for a nominal amount of refrigerant to be added. Finally, they deduced that the root cause of the freeze-ups was a bad TXV valve.The problem is that they have not once followed up to schedule the repair. Even after repeated calls and even promises of a call back with Joe, nothing. I finally asked him if I should just take my business elsewhere and, if so, who he would recommend. Crickets, nothing.Basically, if you are ready to spend thousands on an evaporative to refrigerated air conversion, I'm sure they will call early and often to make sure that they have your business. Got a repair that will only take a couple of hours? Don't hold your breath - especially in El Paso's summer. Joe and Sunshine will happily let you roast before they call you back. They're too busy raking in thousands on the evaporative conversions.

I requested that they perform preventative maintenance on my refrigerated air conditioner. Their technician sprayed the condenser fins with my hose on the outside of the cage, and then he handed me a bill for $98.00.
