Sunshine Christian School

My child has attended this school since she was 3. The environment is caring, family oriented while instilling discipline, even for the young age of 3. This school now feels like an extended family which im very grateful for. We came here as a military family and have decided to retire here. This school was a big part of that decision. Classrooms usually have 10 students per teacher. It is a peanut free environment and students are required to bring healthy snacks and lunch. Overall, the teachers and staff are excellent in their roles. I highly recommend!

We previously had our daughter enrolled in this school and all I have is nothing but positive comments. From the teachers to the Pastor (Tony). They are well organized and have great communication with the parents. It's very unfortunate that the price for 1-5 is out of our reach but if we could afford it we would definitely pay for our kids to attend here. In two years that our daughter attended here we never had any issues that matter other than your normal admin problems here and there but nothing serious enough to be a deal breaker. I would highly recommend.

The teachers and faculty are great. Usually the teachers will work with you over any concerns you may have. My daughter did Pre-K here and kindergarten. She had Mrs.lena for pre K and Mrs. Vasquzettes for K-4. Mrs. Lena is well respected there and runs a brilliant classroom that is well disciplined. She is extremely knowledgable and she is experienced from another christian school in El Paso. If I could give the faculty a rating it would be 5 stars. Now, The front office are not so much helpful, everyone had a different opinion about how things should be run. My friend actually enrolled her son the same time I enrolled my daughter and she got charged more (same grade level). I also relocated and I asked the front desk twice if I need to make a payment and the answer was "NO". Then the second time I spoke to someone they told me I would receive a partial refund. When I called to ask about said refund, they told me I owe them money. It's a shame that I have to write a review that is not perfect because of the way the church does business. I will continue to pray for the church, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this establishment.

Education good. Faculty and teachers good. Principal terrible. Pre k up to kinder they make you use a toilet in the corner of the room. They had a sink in every classroom. The toilet was a wall and a curtain in front. You could see the top of some kids heads. There is bathrooms for older kids. They don't let you use the restroom for older kids. Do not take your child here. They also don't let you eat any sweets like gummies or cake for your birthday or an oatmeal cookie even. On your birthday you can bring fruit vegetable and pizza. Don't take your child there terrible place.

Had my daughter there for 4 years, wonderful school. My daughter loves it. Going to 3rd grade i was told there was no more space for her. Not good for best interest and stability of child. Tried contacting mrs. Lara 1 month with no responce.

My son went here for two years and we loved it. His teachers were amazing and he learned so much. They were so patient and loving with him even though he can be a bit of a class clown. Even the front office staff are so friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because some of the school rules are crazy, for example, if your child doesn't wear a red shirt on Friday they will change them into a red shirt and charge your account for it.
