When you need a hand, Sunset Funeral Homes is there. My father passed away, and my family chose to entrust Sunset to take care of him and his services. They did an outstanding job every step of the way, every detail. They took extreme measures to follow safety protocols and procedures. They even handed out hand sanitizer bottles at the visitation. They showed kindness, compassion to not only us, but to our guests as well. No one wants to say goodbye to loved ones, but when it's time, trust Sunset Funeral Homes. I recommend them highly.

The attentive staff was an answered prayer. When our family prearranged our father's funeral a few months ago, we weren't sure if we had a few years or months, sadly we lost our father after a few months. Ramón handled the prearrangement sale and also introduced himself at the service responding to all our families needs. He guided us through the various formalities required throughout the services. It shows that this dedicated team does not just handle one set of responsibilities, but they do what a family needs during this time. They even called us a week afterwards to notify us a gift had been delivered to the funeral home and wanted to ensure we received it. The beautiful and intimate setting made our family feel special, and not just another funeral to get through. A very different experience from another funeral home down the street we interacted with on previous family funerals.

My cousin was admitted to foster care after 40 days in the hospital. Unfortunately, my cousin suffered a cardiac arrest the same night after not having his trache suctioned and as a result, his brain did not receive oxygen for 40 minutes. Our family had the difficult choice of having to stop all care and Sunset took our call at 8:30PM. Ricardo and his staff completely took care of our family, from setting us up with an appointment the next morning and throughout all the services. We had a totally different experience at another funeral home last year when we lost our matriarch, where we had a pushy director trying to up sell another package during our time of grief. They have a beautiful chapel, they had tissues for us and also had a drink station and cookies for our family the night of our prayer service. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this funeral home and their staff. Even after getting out of the church the following day, they had waters for our family traveling in the limo. Thank you for your professionalism and your attention during our difficult time! We will never forget your kindness and we will be returning to conduct further business with you.

My friends endured the recent passing of their mother and they used this funeral home. The staff was great and it was truly a celebration of her life. It was a peaceful ceremony and you knew that the staff was great at their job. They took their time and they didn't rush anyone. They were great to the family during their time of sorrow. This happened in 2007 I think. They were great and in El Paso, tx this is a reputable biz to use

Where can I begin, from the start they were very professional and compassionate. The chapel was very nice had tissues at the end of the rows, I will be forever grateful for Oscar Flores he was so attentive to my family and I during such a difficult time. Thank you so much.

The entire staff is so attentive. Brenda handled everything she was so patient with us explained all the details. Made sure that she took our religious beliefs into account. She worked with the other funeral home that we are moving my baby nephew to and made sure we had the right size and correct casket for the new home he would be going to. Never up selling, never pushing just recommendation and guidance. The staff always greeted me with such compassion and respect. Either calling me by my last name, ma'am or adding Ms. Before my first name. I could have called 20 times in a day and I got treated the same each time. I made a blanket for him that he never got to use and they respected me and his parents and didn't cut it they wrapped him up so beautifully. He looked so peaceful even though it was the worst day. The driver was so kind when he came for us and respected us enough to give us time in the car before going out to such a nightmarish day. The staff is perfect. They were so nice to escort everyone to the proper areas and nice enough to close the door after the viewing so we could do a family prayer. They explained that we were to wait till the baby came out of the viewing room and then we would walk behind the baby to our chapel. Then when it was over they walked us out and showed us where to stand so that we can be greeted. There are not enough words that I can say to express our appreciation.
