We had such a fun graduation party for my son and his friends. A large group more than ten people. It was such a magical and great evening. The service was absolutely fantastic very smooth and well organized; despite so many different orders. Their sushi and sashimi tray is really a great value. They also let us bring desserts and ice cream. Love this place!

Always good sushi! Service was good too. The only thing that bothered me was that the table behind us had two girls that sounded like Beavis and butt head talking loudly and laughing the whole time! . Maybe a bigger restaurant would help. Seems like the seats are so close together.

AMAZING SUSHI loved it. My personal favorite was the El Paso roll. You have to try it! Came at 6:00pm and wasn't busy at all! Quiet and relaxing place for a possible date or to talk with friends

Baked lobster roll... I asked for the roll without the spicy mayo and asked yum yum sauce. THE BEST ROLL, hands down. I just wish it would have mentioned the spicy sauce prior to ordering the first time. Second time was a charm!!The service was Incredibly fast and flawless. The ambiance was nice... lots of plants and darker themed. The dinner was served on a cut log plate!! Totally awesome!

Super yummy sushi! We got take out but it was really good. The roll are a little on the expensive side but they make up for it in taste.

I think this place might be over rated. i had the Chefs special and my son had the crunchy shrimp roll. They were both just ok. We also had the shrimp tempura and it was just meh. The shrimp was bland and tasted watery. The service was sub par. We felt rushed to leave. I won't come back probably.

As far as sushi goes, there are honestly more options than you'd think out here in the old western town of El Paso. This one, is one of the better ones. Yes, everywhere you go to eat sushi, assuming because of the products required to make it and make it fresh, is going to be a bit on the expensive side, and this place is no different. It is a little more expensive than I like, however, I love sushi and and as long as I can have quality sushi, I'm willing to pay what's wrong the cost. No, this is not super authentic Japanese sushi. I say that, because I lived in Japan for nearly a decade. However, I still love this place, and if you've never really lived in Japan, then it's a moot point, and you'll enjoy this place just the same. The quality is pretty good, to be honest. The products are always fresh. Keep in mind, El Paso is a land locked city in the middle of the west Texas desert, surrounded by sand, and Mexico. And we aren't exactly catching our fresh salmon for the nigiri in the Rio Grande, so for where we are, I'm rather impressed with the freshness and quality. As most sushi places are here, these rolls are more suited for the westerns palate. And you'll find all kinds of creative rolls with creative ingredients that they'd turn their noses up at in Japan, but hey, if it works it works, and this place works. They have a large menu as well. With many Japanese dishes as well as Korean dishes. Also common here in El Paso. Most Japanese places here, or sushi places, also have a large selection of Korean specific dishes. Which is fine, more to choose from! This is one of (I believe) 3 Sunnys Sushi locations in town. And by far the nicest (decor) and newest one. It's definitely worth visiting, and I do often (pre covid).

i just had the worst possible dining experience from Sunny Sushi. trying the restaurant for the first time, I ordered delivery. the restaurant is five minutes from my house. The tuna and eel smelled fishy and the tuna was discolored and dry. Given that it's raw, I was afraid to eat it. The other three items, the gyoza, soft shelled crab and tempura, arrived cold. The restaurant said they couldn't do anything about it and blamed uber, but it must have been sitting out at the restaurant before being picked up to be that cold. Also, the restaurant gaslighted me, saying that it was the same smelly eel and tuna they had been serving all day. They should comp the meal since I will have to throw it out. They did not seem to care about me or customer satisfaction. And they are not cheap.I eat a lot of sushi and have never been served dry discolored tuna in my life. smelly raw fish is unsafe. uber didn't do that to the fish. upsetting lack of consideration from Sunny Sushi.
