Sunny D's Delight

I have been coming to this restaurant as an infant. I will be 37 this year. This has been a place of many breakfasts and lunch with grandma and grandpa, then just grandma and me , now just me. Although it hurts to lose a loved one there is one place that I can come to for comfort. The world can be an awful place sometimes. It is then I find myself making the three hour drive to have brunch to feel some type of whole again. Service is always polite. Food is so good it will remind you of the good old days, Simple times.

Came here with a large group (20) for breakfast. Called ahead several days jn advance so they would have adequate seating and help.The good. The server was very kind and as responsive as possible. It took about 40 minutes to get our food (not terrible for a small diner). I ordered the campfire with bacon (hasbrowns, eggs, veggies, bacon) which was ok. I had to add a lot of hot sauce and salsa to give it enough flavor.The bad. They didn't have enough seating for us to sit together. We were in the same room (a back room) but had to sit at 3 separate tables. We only had 1 server and she struggled to keep our orders straight. The toast came out first but was ice cold and the food was just ok. The coffee was also ok but got worse by the cup (didn't change filter?) I honestly didn't even eat it all despite the high price.The ugly. Again, the server was very kind and accommodating so I want to give this a better review. However, by the menu price my bill should have been about $11. It was $15 with no explanation. They were unprepared for our group and the food was just ok (several people were commenting on how mediocre it was).So, food minus 1, incorrect pricing, minus 1, slow/chaotic service minus 12/5 stars!

I ran into this quaint little place by accident; it was just before lunchtime and I was hungry. They. Their prices are slightly lower than what I normally see. The food was good; there is a tip jar at register for cook . Because I seldom get my eggs yellow runny without white runny, I felt obliged to tip. Not many cooks get that even when explained to waitress/waiter. Service was slow but young man was waiting on customers and doing his own cleaning of tables by himself.

We were heading back to Phoenix from our home in Bisbee and I wanted to find a place to have breakfast on our way home. This came up in my search and we decided to try it. The coffee was good, the breakfast was very good and it had great service and a cute ambiance. We will definitely stop in again.

The food's really good here, the people are really nice. They give you big proportions of food for the price you pay. And the service is very nice and the bathrooms were great and the food was excellent

Good Food & Service This restaurant has good food and service. I've eaten three times and quality has been consistent

Friendly service makes you feel like they knew you all your life cost affordable and meanu special for the day full range of choices on meanu boss is nice as nx pleasant!

Service was bad waited 2 hours for food lady didn't let anyone know it's taken so long for eggs and bacon it's bullshit...

Slow as hell took 2 and a half hours to get are food great food though and good prices

My guy and I went here a couple years ago on our way home from Bisbee. We loved it. Prices were good, food was the perfect diner breakfast food we were looking for that morning. The other day, we were driving home from Bisbee again and decided to stop in. It was busy. The only available tables were dirty. Not a problem, they were full. We waited by the sign that said "please wait to be seated". A woman came up and said "just find a table". We did. It was the only even kind of clean table and it was an 8 top. We watched as other parties were promptly taken to newly clean tables, given menus and drinks.... about 15 minutes go by and we're just about to leave. The same woman came up and asked why we were seated at a large table. We explained it was the only clean table and she told us to find a clean table. She gets us up and moves us to another table that had just been cleaned. Fine. Now we're excited to get to order. We finally do about 15 minutes later. We ordered at 11:58. By this time, the restaurant had cleared out significantly. Our server told us our food should take about 20 minutes. No problem. We watch as other tables who are clearly regulars get seated and served quickly and treated better. AN HOUR LATER, the server brings us burgers. We did not order burgers. She brought us food that belonged to a table that got there BEFORE us. We waited another few minutes, starving and pissed. We left. We were there an hour and a half. Never again.
