Literally the smallest Nano-brewery I've ever been to. Only three beers on draft and each were in small keg coolers. The only place smaller is my setup in my garage. But don't let that deter you. The three he had were all very good. I tried them all. An IPA, a sour and a sour hybrid made with wine grains. All three were excellent. And at $3 a pour, they can't be beat. Take a Saturday afternoon and visit. You won't be disappointed. The brewer is David. Make sure you say hi.

I met David several years back.A friend told me that I had to go with him to meet his friend who makes the best beers I am likely to ever taste. Great time! And many have followed.Since then, I've taken friends there.Must admit, I'm not much of a beer connoisseur, but David is teaching me. He's won many awards for his beers, including many out-of-state competitions, even an International Award!Over the years, I don't believe I've ever had the same beer twice, but it has always been good and like another reviewer said, "well worth the trip." I've never met a beer there I didn't like.My most recent experience started with seeing a friend whom I had introduced to Sun Brewing enjoying the patio with his friends. I enjoyed a berry/fruity beer. Wow!But, I have to tell you about the trip before that.I was having a delightful conversation with David and enjoying a beer when a couple from Connecticut came in for a beer. We spoke while we finished our beers and I learned they were going to park their motorhome in the Cracker Barrel parking lot to spend the night.Well, I couldn't have that! I invited them to the farm and they accepted.Caught a skunk that night, so they had not only the flavor of David's fine beer, but also the mating season in the Mesilla Valley.Good beer, good company and local atmosphere. My new Connecticut friends and I will be back and no doubt I'll meet local friends there almost every time I go.Does life get any better?Great prices, great food, great friends and great beer!Life is great!

Easily the best brewpub in the El Paso area. While I like all the local breweries and try to get out to them as much as possible, Sun Brewing is the perfect combination of great food and fantastic beer. The food is basically a variety or quality hotdogs and bratwurst that unsurprisingly go great with all the beers in tap. At any given time there are a solid variety of beers, and I am yet to find one that I don't like. Whatever your palate when it comes to beer, there will be something for you. Located pretty close to the outlet mall, it's a great excuse to drop off your lady at the bar and pop in for a beer.

The beer is GOOD and cheaply priced! The owner is really nice guy too. Gah, hate to do this since I love to support local, but really think he can do better for his place. A good cleaning would go such a long way. You walk into clutter, a counter of crockpots, and have a visual of a kitchen that doesn't look clean. His food looks so good in pictures and we were eager to try but once we visited and saw the place it was a turn off.

Man the place was under rated. It was truly like being at a friends house and prices were just as if u were pitching in on a beer run, only thing the beer was very tasty. The place had so much love and people were just friendly. Dave even cooked up some chicken it was so good. The clover beer was my favorite and I wish I could have filled my growler.

One man operation, gotta love it. No airs, no frills. Whole place looks like it was put together by one guy following his passion. If you are looking for a romantic place to bring your date, look somewhere else. If you are heading home after a run on the banks of the Rio, a bike ride, a visit to Sierra Vista nursery or just doing an honest days work on your land in upper valley/ Canutillo please stop by here. The owner will make you feel at home. Have a saison, or a wild ale on the patio, watch the trains go by, wonder when the Rio will start flowing this season and contemplate on what it means to have an authentic El Paso experience.
