Pretty good food! Prices are a little high, but that is to be expected of a sushi. Service was fantastic as well. Food came out fast, but we also came on a weekday evening. We got the house stir fry noodles & the Texas roll. Both were good and hit the spot! We will definitely be coming back!

Went for the sushi based on reviews. It was...ok. The sushi pieces were small and uninspired. I ordered the Sumo Sushi dinner combo, and got multiple pieces of the same four fish. No shrimp. No eel. No octopus. No egg. No roe. No crab. What I got tasted good, but every place seems to be doing the same thing these days, so it was "average."Service was excellent. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

I just moved to the area about 2.5 years ago and am used to having sushi on a regular basis in a major metropolitan area where the sushi places outnumbered the steak places. I was SO worried that I wouldn't find a good place to eat sushi. Not only am I used to having great sushi at the ready all the time in Albuquerque, I've also had sushi along the West coast from California to Seattle as well as in fancy restaurants in Las Vegas and Dallas.I am dead serious when I tell you that the sushi at Sumo beats them all! They also have the best staff! This is the only place where they ALWAYS hear me when I request no ginger or wasabi on the plate let alone the table because then I can't get the flavor out of my food. It has never been an issue here! And they are generous when you ask for sides of eel sauce and spicy mayo!The fish is so fresh and delicious that even my "anti-sushi" husband CRAVES the sushi here. He even had some salmon sashimi and he never does ANY of the raw fish! I don't think he has even had cooked salmon before! We also tried the fried rice and it was worth every pound we gained from it!The restaurant itself makes you feel like you are in Japan! The hibachi area is so cute and they give out balloon dolls for free to the kids that are so much fun! The decor is authentic and constantly gives you something to look at!This hidden gem is a must try!

Went for lunch on a Tuesday and opted out on the and it wasn't very busy. The service was amazing and food was delicious. Our server made sure we were always filled with drinks and to check on us if we needed anything else. Will definitely come back.

My favorite. Small, tucked away in a shopping center and WONDERFUL. The waitstaff is so great, the food is amazing. I have been there 4 times now, and it is my go to place when I travel in all the way from Alpine, Tx It is fresh, full of flavor, and no long waits. I don't even know what else to say except yum pink lady and yum Naruto roll!!!!!!! I have also had the lobster roll...amazing!!Ps, the lady who gave this 57 year old lady a balloon for my successful use of chopsticks, you made my day!

Good- I like the Thai Spicy Sushi Roll (add spicy mayo). If you're a sweet n sour chicken fan, there's is great! Did not like the sauce on spicy edamame but regular was fine. Egg Rolls were good too.
