I have used Steinborn since moving away from LC several years ago. * They have been and continue to be surprisingly unresponsive ignoring emails and phone calls more often than not. -- when they do respond, they provide incomplete or unclear answers* They have made modifications to the wiring of my home at the request of the tenants and *without* seeking approval from me. -- mind you these were *changes* not repairs -- they billed me for the work* They neglected to tell me the tenants did not exercise their option for a 3rd year on the lease *after* telling me the tenants wanted to and I gave approval -- 6 months later I get the surprise that the tenants are leaving when I believed they still had another 6 months on the lease* I requested an appraisal on the house several times and was completely ignored* When I called management (several times) to complain, I never got a return phone call -- they did switch me to a different property manager who is, frankly, no better* I have had billing errors, being charged the management fee twice in a month -- I have to catch these errors and go after them to get them fixed* For all this, they charge a fee of 10%These outfit is breathtakingly unprofessional and disinterested in any kind of customer service. It's as if they flipped on the auto-biller and went to sleep. I could probably do better offshoring the property management to a 3rd world country in Asia. Do not make the mistake I did. Steer clear of this firm.
