Star Burgers & Fries

I've wanted to write this eloquent review about this place since the day I ate there, but every time I begin to write i feel as if though I don't quite make the burger justice. So I will try and keep this as simple as possible. Growing up in Juarez, this burger tastes like the "idea" of what an American burger should be and taste like. From watching characters on tv to movies the way this burger tasted and looked was everything I had dreamed of. A smash burger wonderfully done with cheese. Their other tier burgers are pretty amazing, but their og and star of the show is the one you should try. Add the toppings later, and for the first time enjoy what a perfect cheeseburger SHOULD taste like.

On one of those occasions when Star burgers was in our neighborhood, we took advantage of it and made it there in less than 12 parsecs.We got our burgers to go and enjoyed them within the confined of our home. You will make your order on their iPad, but you can also order ahead of time. Usually there is a line with these guys but since it was a pop up on our side of town, we ordered with them on the spot.I enjoyed a Double Mando, and was impressed from their made from scratch sauces that gave the already flavorful smash burgers even more pop. The caramelized onions and hatch chile gave the burger texture. The kids scarfed down their OG Skywalkers - so I know it was good.We shared an order of fries and it was a wrap! I was ready for Order 66 to happen to me. It was a great experience.Too bad they haven't been around EP-proper in awhile, but I'm always on the lookout.

Amazazing burgers, too bad i live 12 hours away! if i lived in el chuco this would replace ALL burger places I go to- yeah they're that good. I got the western burger that comes with onion rings on it. It was so good i forgot to take a pic before. My sisinlaw got the same but added a rib!? The fries can actually be eaten without any ketchup; they're crispy with a hint of garlic. They also come with your burger order. Service was fine, you can order off the ipad at the brewery and sometimes they take ur order at the window (it is a taco truck). The ambiance can be al fresco or dine inside the brewery. Burgers and brew, what a great combo!

This Star Wars themed burger and food truck made best burger I've had in a long time. When we visited, it was parked in the back of Mountain Star Brewing Company. I'm not sure how long it will be there or if it moves, but they're pretty active on their instagram which is @starburgers_fries. I ordered a single patty Grogu-shroom burger and Solo fries. The burger itself is an amazing smash burger with great flavor and perfect crisp. The mushrooms and onions had great flavor themselves and added to the burger rather than just being there. The garlic aioli sauce was perfect and the cheese melted beautifully. And the buns were soft and thick enough to keep all the ingredients in. The fries were coated in a subtle, delicious garlic truffle coating. I could probably eat there a couple times a week and be totally happy every time.A little side note, but you can tell the owner is working so hard and really enjoys what he does. That makes the business even better. Go check it out. You'll be happy you did!

I never understood the Gen Z phrase, "that food slaps" until I bit into a burger from Star Burgers and Fries. As corny as it sounds I've been chasing the truck and missing them like a star-crossed lover. Each time I would try to make it to Old Sheepdog, they wouldn't be available or I saw they were sold out or it was too late at night at Papa Dobles. I'm too old to stay up at night and they're too much in demand to miss out on the late night munchies crowd. Like I said, star-crossed, BUT the stars aligned this past week when Tippin Elementary had their Pumpkinfest and they were one of the trucks that came out. I finally got to taste a star burger, and that food slapped hard.This is how much I wanted to try it; their stove had some issues and I still waited for them to get ready ignoring all the other food trucks that were around and basically just pinning my hopes on that burger. It was worth the wait. Now don't get me wrong. It wasn't the perfect burger. The buns were still too soggy as every Texas bun I've tried (it's soft Texas toast type bread that disintegrates with the touch of a sauce). And the hamburger meat was still a smashburger so not really fond of those since I like my burger meat juicy. However, the combination of their homemade aoili sauce, the bacon, the meat, the fried onions... that combo was lethal and slapped my tastebuds so hard they were singing. I got the THE WESTERN OBI- Smash Pattys, American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Bacon, Onion Rings, Bbq Sauce, Garlic AioliI think the different textures and flavors like sweet, creamy, garlicky, and smoky got me, well honestly it's got me drooling again reliving eating that burger. Ruben at 4tacos4tacos4tacos is right, Chris the cook is an evil genius for his delicious creations. It was a bit expensive, but came with very crispy homemade fries which my kids promptly stole and it was worth every penny. Yum! Solo fries- add cheese and the Lil Anakin. Food was fresh and was ready quickly. The meat was high quality! So glad we found this place. Customer service was 5 star!

We just tried Star Burgers for the first time yesterday evening and, let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I wish I took pictures to add to the review but we were so hungry that we couldn't help but immediately dig in as soon as we brought our food home. I love the theme of the food truck and the menu! I ordered the Mando and my husband ordered the Avoyoda; both of us got a side of tots. Let me begin with the bun: super soft, slightly flat but in a good way (a fat, too bready bun isn't always a good thing), and yummy. The patties are smashburgers and were so good. The toppings they add (which vary depending on the burger you get) are cooked perfectly and are added in a perfect ratio so you get a good amount of everything in each bite without one thing overpowering the whole burger. The melted cheese and garlic aioli wrap it all together, adding an irresistible creaminess. My mouth is watering thinking about these burgers. Will definitely go back to try more of the menu in the future...pretty soon, most likely.

Delicious burgers and great service! The western obi burger is my favorite, the avoyoda is also delicious.

Fire!! Burgers have nice thin sliced beef patties, paired with some great buns not just your regular sams club buns lol.
