One of my two heating/cooling units stopped working. I called a company I remembered had a good reputation (based on a family referral). The person who came to my home said that the unit was emiting carbon monoxide and had to be condemned. He said it would be at least 6 weeks before he could get back to it. Everything about this situation seemed fishy. So, I called Stajuhar's whom I had used before and knew to be reputable. One of the owners came out to check the unit. He found that roofers had recently covered up or blocked one of the vent holes. He made the repair and the unit began to work again, obviously no carbon monoxide, etc. Stadujar's is a very professional company who does both residential and commercial. They have an answering service which is reliable. They will get back to you as soon as they can. The repair they did took place in either March or April, 2022. If they do not call right away, they are working. It is worth being patient to have their expertise.

My mom has been using this service for years. She liked them so much. They switched her wamp cooler to heat and heat to air every year for a service charge. I don't think they were actually taking care of anything. I was there this summer and the thermostat they replaced last year was not working correctly. it would get freezing cold or sweaty hot , but never the right temp. The motor went out on the cooler. I would think if they were taking care of this motor correctly, oiling it when they serviced her air it would not have gone out, but maybe it would have not something i would ever know. The technician that came out said she needed an new motor and replaced it for $360. Ever since, her water has been leaking from her roof. She said he constantly had to go out an turn off the water. I called a different service to fix whatever this issue was. They said the water was not connected correctly on the air and that was why it was leaking. I called Stadjuhars to let them know they owe me $75. I'm waiting on a call back.

They have been servicing my evap cooler for years. Found out they were just spraying over chipped paint/rust and not scraping first. They also did not check/refill oil in ball bearings so it rusted out and damaged system beyond practical repair. Called and never heard back from them.
