Sports Dogs

The 2 hotdogs I had were done right with all the fixins. The fixings were all hot and fresh with the onion in good supply.This is a good deal for $5.75 you get 2 dogs a drink and chips. The husband and wife team are really nice and hospitable. The only suggestion I have is a picnic table would be nice to be able to sit and eat.

Stopped by Lowes to pick up a few items and as I was walking out to my car I caught a whiff of hot dogs. Having a hungry stomach I started to walk over to a hot dog cart set up by the exit. I was greeted by a man who turned out to be the owner and he pointed me towards the menu. Having traveled to New York City frequently I am very familiar with good hot dogs. I scanned the menu and decided on a bratwurst and a cheese dog and a soda. I quickly had in front of me two beautiful creatilons of meat on bread. The brat came with kraut and mustard and was as good as most German restaurants. However, it was the hotdog that really stood out.... I forgot that I was standing in Cruces and thought I was back walking around New York. Thick, moist, and had all the flavor you'd hope for on a great hot dog. The cheese on top was not your standard cheap nacho cheese but something much better that just added to the hot dog. I washed down both with a dr pepper and felt refreshed and full. Total price for both and the drink was under $5 and worth every cent. I am almost hoping more stuff breaks around the house so I'll have a reason to go back to Lowes so I can get a few more hot dogs! Great service and even better food.

Paul and Susan are legit the coolest hotdog people in town. Fair pricing and delicious dogs.

So good...green chile dog is bomb, chili dog is epic, kraut dog is as good as it gets. Really great prices, friendly service, & a wonderful selection. As good as it gets in LC. Don't be afraid of their location outside of Lowe's hardware. They take cash & credit cards.

Great hot dogs!!! I was very surprised to see their selection. The staff was extremely friendly and they had a mom and pop feel to them. Great brats!

Best dogs around, and very friendly people. Great for on the go or just to take time and relax.

What's not to like? Great food, respectful prices and wonderful service! Once you smell the food near the exit of Lowe's, you'll know it's going to be difficult to pass this food cart. I always get a traditional Bratwurst (or two) and a drink then enjoy a quick chat with the owners who are always respectful and have great movie suggestions.

Yelp has done it again! Great dogs!!! Fantastic selection. Cool dude running it! I miss the hotdogs from my hometown in Kansas. This makes me not so lonely for a great dog just a mile from my house!
