Not sure what this is. Does anyone know?

Saw this museum on our way to the New Mexico museum of space history. We had to stop and sooo glad we did! Had so much interesting information! The lady that works there is awesome!!! So friendly and knowledgeable! We would like to go back when we have more time because I know we could spend all day there. Is a must stop if you like the history of space.

This is an amazing space memorabilia museum. It isn't big but it is packed with donated space items and NASA rocket equipment. The murals outside are very nice and detailed. This is a free museum. Donations accepted. It has a gift shop. John is very nice and informative. I would have given 5 stars but the outside portion of this museum is in need of TLC. I am so glad we went. It was very interesting learning the history of space exploration.

A thoughtful and remarkable personal collection of space memorabilia, free to the public! The employee on duty gave me history on the facility and the the area's involvement with space history. I was in town for (space industry) work and thoroughly enjoyed the perspective provided by Space Murals. Make sure to donate or pick up a goodie at the gift shop, a gem like this needs to be supported.

A fun roadside stop if you have any interest in our space program at all. Ben was on duty and he was full of interesting stories. The murals are outside along with other pieces of space memorabilia. Indoors is all sorts of information about the program, the people who participated, and the equipment they used. It's free--so buy something in the gift shop.

When I first saw this place on the highway I thought it was close. So I decided to go back a week later and its a really good place to take kids and learn about space. They have alot of history and it's free. They do take donations so make sure you do your part. Places like this need to stay so the next generation approaches. They have cool space toys for kids and adults. My son love it and he said he wants to go back. They have a small area too for the children to play while you look at the museum.

Really cool roadside attraction with a large collection of space/NASA memorabilia on the way out to White Sounds Monument. You can't miss it....just look for the water tower painted with planets, rockets and a spaceman.

We got lucky because we were looking for a ghost town in Organ, NM that didn't exist. Drove past it and came back to check it out. Awesome NASA collection. Lots of it was donated to the museum by family members of astronauts, NASA employees or by NASA itself. Odette was very knowledgeable and sweet. No charge for entry. Museum runs off of donations and portions of items purchased in the store. If you're into space stuff, I definitely recommend you stop by. Not far off of the I-10 and easy to spot off of Route 70. Hours are from 9am - 5pm Mon - Sat closed Sunday. Thanks Odette for a great experience!

Stumbled across this roadside private museum as my friends & I were battling heavy rain on the highway. Lovely stop, complete with a very welcoming curator who gave us lots of tips on the area itself as well lots of info on the historical odds & ends housed here. Worth stopping for any space buff!

Way cool roadside attraction! One of the biggest collections of space/NASA memorabilia I've ever seen!!!! A huge water tank out back has lovely murals all over it depicting major milestones and tragedies in the history of NASA. There are also some rockets and fuel tanks and engines out there. Inside there is a huge collection of stuff from the entire history of NASA, from photos, to actual used equipment and clothing!! Way cool stop for anyone interested in the US space program!

Stopped on a whim on my way to white sands, and was shocked at how jam packed full of memorabilia and information that tiny museum was. The indoor part of the museum is full of space program history, and the outdoor grounds have just as much interesting information to contribute. No entrance fee, and the prices in the gift shop are very affordable compared to other, similar, gift shops (and there is no minimum credit card purchase). Some websites list the closing time as 6:00pm, but the day I was there the museum sign said closed at 5:00, so you may want to call ahead.
