Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ

I stopped in for some food to go. I got some brisket. It was really good. But there were no sides available except fries and chips. So I wanted more. But overall the meat was good. Hard to find little food truck. But great service and was out quick.

While visiting our son who's attending UTEPa friend recommended Smoking Joe's we decided to check it out. 5 stars excellent brisket and ribs and the smoke mac & cheese was amazing.

Great customer service, however the food is where I'm not completely convinced I paid 33 dollars for a 3 meat ,2 side combo.... The meat was okay at best wasn't really wowed by anything in my meal , definitely lacks flavor . Will give this place another shot however won't be in the near future

I visited them at Buddy's Beer Barn food court. They had a very impressive set-up with a larger mobile serving trailer all clean and shiny,... reminded me of coming down the stairs on Christmas Day and finding a bright red fire truck under the Christmas tree! My eyes got really big as I walked up to Smokin' Joe's like I was captured in a StarTreck tractor beam, passing all other food trailers and powerless to resists. Joe's specialty is Pitt BBQ and next to the mobile serving trailer was an amazing cooking station of several interconnected steel smoking grill pitts. Hard to describe but looked like at least four or five egg shaped Modular's connected together like living pods on the Arctic circle except they were BBQ smokers. I ordered the "pulled pork sandwich" and it was exquisite! I rarely order pulled pork but in this case Smokin' Joe's made me a fan again. This was a Five Star experience on a cold January night that my Wifey dragged me out of the warm confines of my house to check out the food court off of Montana & Lorne Rd. I ordered another Pulled Pork Sandwich to go and found Smokin' Joe's on his "YouTube" channel. They deserve a brick and mortar restaurant but until then I'll track them down like a hungry wolf

Today the family and I went to Joes Pit to give it a shot on their infamous BBQ. I first would like to start off that their customer service/hospitality is out of this world. They care for you in a way you're satisfied and guide you in order to be astonished and comfortable within their area. Now their food is a different topic.Their food is very outstanding and unique. Personally myself I enjoyed their Chile Relleno Sausage as it was PACKED with flavor, following that I was very astonished by how juicy the turkey breast was. It was a great way to truly test their food as every BBQ perfects their brisket but not their other meats. As well as they forget about their sides. When it comes to their sides it was definitely a unique experience with the smoked Mac and cheese as it was smooth and fiery with flavor at the same time. I was not a fan of the cowboy beans but I was expecting more of a charro beans when it came to that style. Overall within El Paso this is one of the best BBQs I recommend. One suggestion I would make for the owner/team, is to potentially look into their own homemade sweet tea. As it is not a complete BBQ in Texas, without homemade sweet tea! Once again thank you for your time and outstanding food!

Joe and his crew are the most hospitable. The food was to die for. Amazing smoke ring. BBQ sauce was the perfect balance. Ribs weren't over seasoned and tasted so fresh. Sausage was packed with tons of my favorite flavors. Brisket was 10/10 . Onions and pickles were delicious yet simple. Kid approved family friendly. I highly recommend trying this spot out if your visiting El Paso

Found this gem of a place!! The Brisket is the best I've tried in El Paso! My eight year old grandson, chef to be and a huge critique gave it a thumbs up!!! We also tried the Chicken, oh my! It was so tasty and moist! Y'all have to try it seriously! Thanks Joe!

Absolutely delicious!! A must have in EP. I had the chopped brisket i was wowed, potato salad bomb. I can't wait to try other menu items. The service was fast, Joe was awesome. Located by buddy beer barn was with all other food trucks was a little chilly outside but it was worth it.
