Smokey's Pit Stop and Saloon

This place was very underwhelming and disappointing. If you're craving BBQ don't come here and give this place your money. The food tasted so bad and flavor less, the vibes in the bar are weird also it's a dive bar and the people taking my food orders which were the owners were not friendly at all after the fact we told them we've never been before. I've had the worst dining experience here and the BBQ food sucks and the bartender can't make a proper mixed drink. I wish I can give 0 stars. This place should be out of business or bought out. Sorry not sorry.

Great food and service!! Food was cooked to perfection and prompt attentiveness was appreciated.

Service was crap. We almost left it took so long to be greeted. Cheap ass plates, dirty drink machine, flies in restaurant. On to the food- I ordered the brisket plate ($15) and most of it was just junk, not actual meat. What meat was there was okay. Mac & cheese is definitely that canned processed cheese and was served slightly above room temp, beans were good; just all over my cheap plate.Hubs got pork ribs, they were great. Corn had been sitting in that water a good while. He got the beans too, all over everything. They also do not allow motorcycle cuts. Which on one hand I totally get. But the MCs of El Paso get along surprisingly well. Based on that, the crappy service, and the mess; we won't be back. Maybe the bar is better?

Great smoked turkey! Staff was nice and attentive. Just need some music in the lunch area rather than movies

I've been coming to Smokey's since I was 21. it took a bit of dip afterCOVID so I stopped coming in. I heard they were under new management so I decided to give it another shot. The brisket was excellent! So glad to see they got their act back together. I'll definitely be coming back.

Was very disappointed with my food and service today. Usually it is really good. The girl that took my order was rude, didn't seem to care for her work. I ordered the 2 meat player with brisket and sausage. The meats were cold, not even warm, cold. The brisket was hard, no tenderness at all. The only thing that was good was the potato salad. After today, I guess I will be going to other restaurants for BBQ. ​

The BBQ aid one of the best in town. I'm a big fan of beef ribs and their ribs are something out of the Flintstones! The bartenders are amazing! Especially Libby, Mari, Jordan, Lulu and Claudia! The karaoke is great, one of the best sounds and selections in town! The NEW owner Colleen knows what she's doing! This place is a definite stop for a restaurant/bar combo!

First and foremost Smokey's is awesome in and out. Reason for this post/ review is to look out for a bartender lulu she plays dumb as a rock but is unprofessional and unethical. Worst service In general. and blames everyone else saying she's under appreciated.
