Smokey Sensations

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Las Cruces, I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The menu has so much to offer from great burgers to parmesan salmon. The wings have to be the best in town, great breading on them and super juicy. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. There's nothing like this in Las Cruces.

Great service with wonderful food. The owner personally checked my togo order with me to make sure that it was exactly what I had ordered. Took it all home and quickly went into a Food coma after eating the Dino rib, collard greens, mac salad and a jetk chicken loaded potatoe. Everything was great, seasoned well, cooked well and enjoyed thoroughly!! Thank you Smokey Sensations!!!​

Stopped in on a work trip and we were not disappointed. Chris made sure we had everything we needed. The smash burgers were SO good. This is a popular place and the staff were very busy. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu.

The Jerk Chicken and Greens were so flavorful and spicy! The service was nice and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

Food was good, service was nice, and its veteran owned, small place but its nice would eat there again.

After spending a couple of hours at the Farmer's Market, we stopped at Smokey Sensations for lunch. I had the double Smash Burger with onion rings and my wife had the Smash Burger salad. Both of our meals were good. I have had better onion rings in town. The interior seems to be a lot brighter and cleaner than it was when it was Day's Burgers. Service was outstanding. Quick delivery of our order and everyone on their staff was super friendly.

This restaurant--where Days Hamburgers used to be--has a lot of kinks to be worked out before I can root for it. First of all, the man running the cash register was a real sourpuss. There was no friendly greeting, and in addition to running the register he was also in charge of getting people their beverages but was incapable of doing both. We waited 30 mins for the drinks that we paid for.Then, the food itself--a burger and fries and a pulled pork sandwich and onion rings--took 45 mins to arrive. There is only one cook, and they make the orders in the order they get put in. I'm not sure if there is a more efficient way to run that small kitchen, but it's annoying. WRT the food: it cost $34, the pork sandwich and the (frozen) onion rings tasted good, the burger was good, the fries were meh. The atmosphere would be better if there hadn't been loud TV noise blaring. I won't go out of my way to eat there again and predict that, unlike the prior tenant of the space, this BBQ joint is going to have a short tenure.

The menu had a wide variety of barbecue. The brisket was moist. Ribs were delicious jerk chicken was ful of flavor. We tried the hot wings nicely, portion, and fried zucchini. Owner made sure we were satisfied. Looking foward to coming back and trying other items

First we walk in and sit down and wait to be seated. The food smells amazing. I was offered water which was very nice. Now I have memory issues so I am terrible with names but oh my goodness the people there helped make my Birthday one of the best EVER. The food has so much flavor and the conversation was froendly and funny. We didn't tell them right away it was my Birthday but we asked for cheesecake. They make their cheesecake and the apple caramel sounded so good. The cheesecakes are so good that they were out.They were going to give me a slice of one that was not for sale and when my husband said it was my birthday, they gave me the cheesecake. I cried. I am crying now.The food was mouth watering. My son had a double smash burger that he said was amazing, my husband had carne asada nachos and I had the pastrami Hoagie. All were very good.Don't let the 10-20 minute wait (depending how packed they are) deter you, the food is really good and the staff is phenomonal. We will keep going back.

Listen, I've been to ~90% of the US, doesn't mean I've seen it all, but the diversity I've come through is there. I've made it a point to get wings everywhere I've gone, only the spots that are local and well reviewed, and hands down smokey sensations is making a run for the top spot. I've lived in LC for 6 years maybe, I'm Westcoast born and raised, and I can't think of a spot here that speaks LC, something the city can be known for but this could be it. smokey sensations is on the map and there is no second place. EVERYTHING was 10/10, they brought the flavor, the texture, and the vibe was all love. Tell me, am I lying? and if you don't know, go find out!!!
