The food was delicious. And fast! The pitas are homemade and delicious. The meat was a tad bit dry, but the flavor is there. The rice has a delicious flavor. I'm the plates are enough for two, but we're looking forward to delicious left overs. The service was quick. Nothing fancy here, just good food. It is clean, which is most important to us. We will be back!

Good food, poor service. I used to come here years ago before moving out of town and always had a hankering for their food. I finally had a chance to go back and the place looks exactly the same--dark and greasy. The food however, used to be some of our favorite. For an appetizer, try their cheesy fatoush or their baba ghanouj. The shish tawouk plate with rice is our favorite. You must try their green spicy sauce and cool it down with some yoghurt sauce. Disappointed that they stopped serving our favorite dessert, knafeh. Unfortunately, the service continues to be some of the worst in town. It appears that the owner's sons/family friends are running the front and back of the house and they are often distracted by the television or their cell phones. Their tea usually tastes old as well. Give this place a try but maybe take it to go.

Have been coming to Sinbad for quite a few years but been awhile now so decided to have lunch here with my wife. Always been a favorite spot and again did out disappoint. Can't think of anywhere where else with very traditional and authentic middle eaten food! Won't disappoint! Wife had her favorite Chicken Curry and I had the lamb plate. You won't go wrong here!!

I visit Sinbad for one dish and one dish only...the chicken curry plate. My husband brought me to this restaurant many years ago and it's what I fell in love with. The chicken is good with the right amount of sauce, and the rice is tasty and compliments the chicken curry well. I also love that it comes with a spicy green sauce. I have ventured off and bought a few other menu items, but I always come back to the curry. The only reason I give this restaurant 3 stars and not more is because I feel that the atmosphere can be updated. It feels very dark and outdated. I dined in once years ago and it felt dingy. Fast forward to over five years later, and it's still exactly the same. I usually order for take out and enjoy at home. Overall, I do recommend some aspects of this restaurant. The food is good, but maybe best enjoyed as a take out experience.

Today we came by Sinbad to pick up the falafel appetizer and a beef shawarma. For the falafel, we felt that it was pretty good by itself but could have been more flavorful. It was a lot better in our opinion when dipped in one of their sauces. The beef shawarma was so tasty! The pita bread was super fresh, and the flavor was exactly what we wanted. Our only complaint was that the beef was not very tender. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back! I would like to try their baklava next time.

I'm always on the hunt for good Mediterranean/Middle eastern food in El Paso, and when someone recommended this place, I decided to check it out. I asked the server what is there most popular entrée, and he recommended the Combo plate. It was a yummy, filling plate of grilled chicken, gyro meat and minced-meat skewers that comes with a choice of rice or salad. Feeling carb loading-ish, I went with the rice, and also enjoyed the yogurt sauce and spicy green sauce that came on the side. This is a big meal - counts as lunch and dinner! The rice was well-cooked and the meat was all tender and flavorful. The place is kind of a whole in the wall, and there were only a couple tables of people that seemed comfortable, like regulars. It may be better as more of a takeout place, but provides some different dining options for the city.

Friendly. Roasted eggplant and combo plate was great. Big portions. Good service. Hand painted murals inside. 20 + years of business in el paso. Humble place.

My husband took me here on one of our first dates almost 12 years ago. It not the nicest place, but the foot is really good. We visit this place often and we also order to go. The gyro, rice pilaf, and greek salad are our favorite! The staff is always really nice.

The gyro sandwich with the jalapeño sauce. WOW!!! That jalapeño sauce is just out of this world. The lentil soup is delicious as well. The falafel is also a must try. I've always got good service here. It is an old spot for sure, but still very lovely.
