Shadow Ridge Apartments

Considering the price of these apartments- my husband and I pay about $680 for our one bedroom 505 sq ft apartments with utilities- we could definitely size up and pay around the same and get a bigger space. The apartments are poorly maintained. Everything is painted over- the sink & the cracked tub. I'm sure we'll be charged for that when we move out. I can hear my tiny skinny neighbor upstairs walking and on the phone and plying with her dog. To the point where her steps wake us up in the morning. The floors/ ceilings are just poorly made. You have to call the front desk 10 times before they stop sending you to voicemail and actually answer. It hasn't been terrible living here but we definitely won't be staying. Not to mention they want to increase our rent by $120 if we choose to stay- quite the motivator to pack up and get outta here!

Been here 4 months and already looking for another place. FYI...There's no grace period with the rent. If you don't pay, in 4 days you get the boot. However they will work with you if you explain why and the late fee is 10% of the rent. Two pools, NO hot tub. I can hear the people upstairs conversation at times and also the apt next door to me. The 2bdrm 2 bath has a great layout and for an apt, the layout I give 4 stars. Overall I wouldn't choose this place. In fact, I didn't. I let someone else. Learned my lesson on that one

After I moved out they charged me for things that was not even an issue. They charged me $25 for the cabinets, $50 for the carpet, keep in mind that there was a big flood in my apartment and damage the carpet. I disconnected the light on May 30th and returned the key on May 31st and they charged me 2 full days for the electricity. They just charge you for every little thing. I called and spoke with one of the girls at the front, I asked her why she was charging me $25 for the cabinets, she looked at the pictures and she said " I don't see anything wrong with these cabinets, you should have not been charged for this" like seriously??? Why didn't they see that before ?? My bed got damaged because of the flood in my room, they didn't come in time to fix in time. Just horrible experience with them. Oh and they are very expensive too, comparing to other apartments in the area.

if I could give it a zero star rating I would. The pricing for what you get is like spending 100k on a 2002 Nissan Altima with 200K miles. Their maintenance team SUCKS, management SUCKS, the buildings themselves SUCK! All the front desk b!tches wanna do is argue and point fingers, they're quick to charge you extra for anything they can even leaving festive decorations up for a few days when the holiday is over (yes, they're that petty). They spy on people (yes...spying) and keep tabs on who visits your apartment or stays longer than a week. They're quick to try and tow your car even if it had it's wheels stolen (yes that happened to someone). The maintenance team is just a bunch of disrespectful, loud, nosy and sneaky man-children who don't actually do good work. 7 months and my AC still isn't fixed!!! They will enter your apartment regardless of any guidelines you set and then blame you for whatever they can. Overall, unless you like headache, go somewhere else to live.

I have been living here since end of January and we are in August, i have reached out 3 different occasions regarding my air conditioning that has not been fixed. Very frustrating to have to wait at least 2-3 days for them to temporarily "fix" it, in a 100 degree weather. And not to forget having to call to get a update every single time because no calls are made about what has been fixed or what was done. As you can see down below a previous reviewer reported something alike to this and this has been a issue that has not been fixed in these complexes. It's not fair that i have to be paying for a place that I'm not comfortable living at because it's so hot and no one is able to fix my air.

roach infested do not move there . over priced for very small sq foot place. the stairs to walk up are not to city code . Cement is crumbling and cracked fetal frame is exposed

I don't even know where to begin with this place. In the beginning of everything they make you feel so welcomed and they sound like genuine nice people. But once you move in and start having issues with your apartment you are completely left in the dark. We have had issues with our apartment literally since we moved in. From lights not working, loose outlets, vinyl flooring in the bathroom rotting, and the one that blew us away our A/C. We have been dealing with our A/C ever since the summer started. The summer is almost over and yet it's still not fixed. My husband and I are military and cannot be home all the time but when we would arrive it would be 90+ degrees in the house. You realize how frustrating it is to be out in the sun all day and come home to this. Not only that but I strictly asked for many things to be fixed before we moved in and nothing got done. I asked for new carpets since there were stains all over this one and guess what. It never got done. The people here are just as dirty as the whole apartment complex. People sneaking into the pool, leaving trash everywhere, yet you'll always get a complaint from the leasing office if you fail at the smallest inconvenience. And to get in contact with them..?? Good luck. This is by far the worst and I mean the WORST apartment complex I have ever stay in. If anyone ever asks about what it's like staying here just know I will NEVER recommend this place.

If I could rate 0 right now I would. I've lived here for over a year and I loved it, but management changed and changed and changed and now I never know who I'm talking to. This place has gone down hill since I've lived in it. I know the downsides of being in a down stairs apt even though I was told it would be an upstairs but when I moved in they acted as if they had no clue it was a down stairs. NOW I have 5 people 2 adults 2 children and 1 newborn baby living above me. I've complained 9 times already and NOTHING the assistant manager laughed at me on the phone when I said management has changed so much it's frustrating. They have become unprofessional. NOT military friendly. I've referred 4 people here and one had to break there lease using deployment orders and the front desk said it was fake, they weren't and they got out of it. they try so hard to keep you locked in. that isn't even legal to have that many people in a tiny one bedroom apt NO WONDER it's loud. You can hear them every night move furniture around I guess to make room, last night was the last time! They were rumbling around until ONE in the morning. I'm so fed up. Maintenance will just pop in even if you ask to call before enetering and I asked him on my camera what the hell he was doing I didn't get a call. I'm currently speaking with JAG and I will be getting out of this place ASAP. DO NOT COME HERE THIS WONT FEEL LIKE HOME

Where do I begin? It's next to impossible to get someone to pick up the phone and they're hardly in the office. The building behind the one I live constantly has trash outside in front of the bushes! Is it that difficult to walk 100 yards to the dumpster? I'm unimpressed. Also, they closed down the pools until "further notice :)" and the gym is hardly open. It's over 100 degrees almost daily. Those who are messing with the pool area should be punished not the whole complex. In the email regarding the situation they said to give them a call with any questions... no one picks up. They restrict use of personal grills but provide some by the pools. My two complaints regarding this- 1, the pools are closed so we cannot access it and 2- no one ever fills the propane and the back of the Grill is locked so no one can get access it to change it out themselves. Maintenance also hardly takes care of the trash cans around the pool area. People are using the trash cans they're just over flowing come Monday morning. For a complex so concerned with their outer image, they should hire workers who do the job and make the place decent. Also, why is my rent so high if my family can't even utilize what we're paying for?? Unprofessional!!! Will not renew my lease!!!!

When we first moved into our apartment it looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the people before. There was dirt in the cabinets and grease still on the stove hood. ALSO the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. No matter how many times I cleaned it still stunk like old urine. Numerous things were broken like our faucet to the bathtub and one of the door handles not opening. We were late one month on rent and spoke to management about it, next day they completely went back on what they said and gave us only 3 days to pay or we would be kicked out. Honestly, there are better places to live then here, don't waste your money!
