Day I left the salon. Muddy color- horrible job.

Muddy hair color. 5 days later- only washing twice, and with the expensive ($50) color safe shampoo she sold me at the salon.
5 days after leaving the salon. Color missing from strands of my hair already. Only got half a refund from Megan McRae.
The only natural color Megan left on my head. In what world is this a balayage? Or better yet, in what world is this what I asked for..?

I'm sitting in the waiting area after my massage facial and wax and I could just fall asleep right now. I had Karla and masse and I won't be going anywhere else. The back of the salon where you get massages is so dark and quiet and peaceful. I haven't tried the other masseuses but masse gave me the best massage I've ever had. She is strong too. I fell asleep in karlas facial so that should tell you how relaxing that was. I made my future appointment as soon as I paid. Hair was supppperrr long. Just got back from a year long deployment where I didn't cut it at all and so I really needed this. Got an appointment with Asia and gave her some pictures of the type of style I was looking for and what kind of color I wanted for my balayage and she worked her magic. Cut off about 8 inches of hair and I am very happy with the result! Hair feels so much lighter (obviously) and much healthier!

My friends and I were in town as guests for a wedding and had decided to do a girls spa day. They were so accommodating over the phone as we tried to plan our day. They worked with us to make sure we would not be late to any other plans, while making sure we all got pampered to the max. The services were also amazing. The massages were magical, the pedicure and manicures were beautiful, and the facials were refreshing (and no redness to mess with makeup later on). All in all we had a wonderful experience. I know if any of us are back in the area we'll be booking again!

The staff are all friendly and do an amazing job! I love that the staff go to great lengths to ensure that the lash extensions they apply are what is best to protect your natural lashes and provide education on how best to care for your natural lashes as well as your lash extensions.

Love the salon, HATE HOW BAD MEGAN MCRAE LEFT MY HAIR. R U N. I asked for a fashion color balayage. I asked for the melting of all of the colors from my natural to the fashion color to be subtle so that grow out wouldn't be a huge issue- and I could maintain the deep color from home. I asked for more blue and teal than purple in the back, and a peekaboo color in my bang. Apparently (according to her) I asked for light blue and light purple even though my inspiration pictures were all deep and very saturated colors. She also completely bleached my bangs instead of creating a peekaboo like I asked. When I went to leave, she saw I was upset and instead of offering to fix it at a later date, she just asked me to pay. She reached out to me after a week- only after being asked multiple times by the salon owner to do so. She offered to fix it at no charge or give me half my money back with utter distain and attitude in her voice.... She made me feel so small anduncomfortable, I couldn't ever trust that I wouldn't feel even more so uncomfortable in her chair! So after seeing my picture below you should understand why I wouldn't want her near my hair again. Such a joke. This is the worst beauty service/customer service I've ever received here in El Paso. Megan might care about some of her customers, but as a new customer I received the absolute worst 6 HOURS of a color service I've ever had in my life...... And that's including the time I did my own at home in high school. Included are inspiration pictures and my hair less than a week after spending $270 for this... It's terrible, spotty, muddy looking, already fading terribly after one wash with the expensive shampoo I also purchased from her. (The purple hair inspiration was supposed to be the placement, the other two were supposed to be the tones of blue and purple I was asking for.) I honestly can't believe she wouldn't give me a full refund. My hair is disgusting and this is the worst my hair has ever looked. She should be ashamed to have let me leave with my hair looking like this. (This is a review only about MEGAN MCRAE. I've heard great things about the other stylists there. The salon owner was also very sweet understanding. Megan, however, was not. 10/10 do not recommend.)

Had my hair cut by Asia and was beyond happy with my cut. She took the time to really look at the texture of my hair and was able to correct the previous cuts. She is amazing at her profession and will be going back to her!! I also got to see a very special friend, Victoria!! Victoria is the best lash tech!! The salon over all has amazing stylists!

I would not recommend for any moms (especially new moms) to support this business. I want to start by saying, I absolutely LOVED my stylist, however, the owner is rude and dismissive.I want to make clear that I am completely respectful and always follow policies in businesses regarding children/babies. For example, at the spa place where I get facials it is clear in their policy that no children under the age of 12 since it's a very quiet environment. I of course always coordinate for child care. This salon has no such policy in place.So I go in and everything seems to be perfect, that is until I feed my baby. I immediately notice a disgusting stare from a client next to me. I ignore it (mostly thinking I might be over thinking the situation).I am a proud breastfeeding mom, and although I can not prove that this is what caused the following events... I can only tell you that it is a gut instinct of why I was humiliated and told not to ever bring my 10 month old with me again. My baby WAS cooing and making noises any 10 month old would be making. However, he was not crying, let alone crawling all over the place... or anything I would consider out of hand. When I got ready to pay I was confronted very loudly and rudely by the owner.She stated and I quote "I'm sorry, but next time you come, the baby can not come. He was very loud and I had clients complain because they pay money to be here to relax and were unable to do so."I was completely shocked and honestly very embarrassed. I asked if I had missed the policy regarding babies. There wasn't. This wasn't a toddler who was out of control. This was a 10 month baby making cooing noises (in which some clients were even complimenting how cute he was).I asked my stylist if this was a problem and she stated this had never happened before. I was upset but paid and left. I then call to see if there was somewhere I can call to make a complaint which I then realized Cathy was the owner. She called me back stating "I understand you're a military wife and you might have a hard time getting a sitter but I have to respect and protect my clients". Like my money wasn't as good as any one else's there?? Protect clients from a 10 MONTH old? Anytime I wanted to get a word out she continued to talk over me, going on and on about how she understood the military life?! I ended up just hanging up.I am not sure what the real issue was on why I was treated so poorly, but I will never ever step foot in this business again.
